I love you Linda. You inspired me. Your album is the second album I bought after the Beatles Hard Day Night . I don't think anyone really knew you then in Australia.
I fell in love with your truth I think and that you were a woman at that time being independent and doing what you want. When I was a young woman I Had my girlfriends come with me to your concert when you toured Australia. They would not have known about you otherwise.
In recent years a friend of mine at Karaoke asked me to help her sing Different Drum which I knew by heart from listening to your record over and over. Thankyou Linda. You have given me much inspiration when the world did not expect women to achieve.

Didn’t know Linda Ronstadt was a song writer. Went to iTunes and looked up both her Spanish tune “Lo Siento Mi Vida” and her English song “Try Me Again” and I bought them both.

I have loved her music for decades, ever since Different Drum was released.
Unfortunately, this is a wafer thin piece on Linda, btw, seriously doubt if she had or has those motor vehicles, particularly the Rolls, she hasn't been able to drive for over a decade and has never been a materialist- these were the very factors that drove her from poor value based life in Los Angeles.

The first picture is not her body , she has multiple sclerosis and is losing all her faculties .
Linda does not have MS. She is diagnosed with Supranuclear Palsy. And she is definitely NOT "losing all of her faculties." Rather, Linda is quite smart, is an avid reader and can carry on lengthy intelligent conversations., as evidenced by her recent speaking tour prior to Covid. She has just written her 2nd memoir "Feels Like Home" that focuses on her Mexican heritage. Please don't count this remarkable artist and human being out!! Thank you.
