It's the 16gb version, I was using a i5 10400F, unfortunately it's the best CPU that I have at the moment, using a bottleneck calculator apparently they are a perfect match, also I used 16gb ram and everything running off of a 2tb M.2
@@RestoTek The A770 and 6700 XT have the same price. You can't expect much in the name of 4K gaming for a first generation graphics card which is only $300. And anyways, I never mentioned the 6700 XT initially.
I agree, I think it's the first generation that is borderline breaking into 4k gaming, but saying that intel have a 16gb ddr6 graphics card, I think they have years to catch up on drivers because looking at the hardware it's brilliant. Saying that it would be interesting to see how it performs in a year's time. Just an FYI I bought 2 x A770 and 4 x A750
yeah, I used the same footage from a previous video and I couldnt beleive it at first, so I re-ran it and it was the same! I might try it again just to double check but I have to put a PC back together again
Your right I could have done better, in fairness though if intel have another year of updates in sure the A770 will be miles better, think about it 120% performance improvement from a driver update. Clearly the card wasn't optimised from day 1.
They are, I have to admit their first gen gpus are pretty impressive considering they just entered the market but the value proposition isn't quite there at the moment, maybe 2nd gen might fair a bit better

You can use dxvk for a nice perforance boost for DX11 games. I wish Intel would put more dxvk in the their dx11 drivers.
Intel should have done DX11 in hardware and none of this would be an issue. Next time round maybe they won't be so stupid.
What CPU are you doing the tests with? It seems to me that the fps of the Arc a770 are very low, is it version 8 or 16GB?

I'm personally not gaming at 4k, but either way Intel seems to be a little behind in terms of performance compared to AMD & NVidia.
