- Here is the footage from our trip over to Kalispell for the 2020 Snow bash event! It was an amazing trip snow wheeling over there with some rad people and getting to check out some new area. It would be neat to get back over there in the future to go do some more exploring. Drop a comment down below if you want to see more wheeling content. Thanks for watching!

Looks super fun. I just got my very first ever truck and it’s my fav, 2002 Tacoma quad cab v6 TRD. I love your setup. I eventually want copy those mods. Zero experience in automotive at all so love all yours and others putting up awesome videos!!! Keep it up!
Keep up the first gen uploads!!!
Will do!
I don’t care what anyone says. It doesn’t get more hard core than bringing a sawsall and grinder with you to do some on the trail clearancing and then touching up paint in -10 weather 👍💪
Haha for sure!
One day I will go there! Kalispell Montana looks amazing. I'm from southern California and now living in Las Vegas. These videos are fun to see keep up the good work
Thanks! Appreciate the support! 🤘
supercharger sounds awesome! Nice vid those trails looked fun sweet ride!
I agree! Thanks!
love my 02 taco owned it for 15 years 285000 miles still runs strong and looks good rolling down the road been jumped and sunk, good times
They are definitely amazing how well they hold up!!
Awesome ride, thanks for video.
Hey thanks!
That looks like the best time ever 🤘🤘
It was rad!
Joey Barth supercharged on 37’s in low range ,man them yodas are beasts!
👌
Anthony's tacoma is sick. Nice and clean, but functional.. and 2nd gen for the win!
It's a rad build!
I had a hard to come by 96' taco single cab with a 3.4 liter that never left the rev limiter. It was called Mudlight. I had a leveling kit with a set of thornbirds
That's rad!
Great video!!! The guy brings all kind of power tools but wears sneakers to go snow wheeling
Haha
More videos taco all the way
There will definitely be more!
Nice snow wheeling 👍👍🇺🇸
The Vermonter
🤘🤘
Do both of those 1st gen tacoma's have 37's ? They look huge.
Yes
Any info on your radios and antennas would be greatly appreciated. I’m looking to install a CB and Tri-band ham radio in my ‘20 Taco 4x4
I will try to find some links. The antenna stuff I got from a local truck shop.
Ya that would be cool if you go back in the summer months and show us the trail from start to finish, the snow hides alot, till the next adventure, keep them rolling.
Your truck seems super capable in the snow, and those tires seem to do great. Would love to see a budget wheeling rig build on the channel!
It doesn't do to bad. A budget build would be fun!
Not sure if it’ll be a budget build. Those 1st gen Tacoma’s still cost a lot of money.
@@jaymoar3561 didn't say it was going to be a Tacoma. I'd probably start with a Cherokee
Josh Driscoll nope those suck
Awesomeness 👌
Thanks
Getting some Patagonia’s soon. They look like there doing great in the snow. Any complaints at all? Like your channel, keep up the great work
I absolutely love them so far. No complaints! Hey thanks!
Definitely needs her own 👍😎👍
Yes!
Awesone video , quick question i just pickup a 2001 taco trd sr5 manual 297,000 miles , from old timer he got the chassis replaced on recall always keep her dealer service never when to regular mech shop always dealer , he had it garaged get for 2 years cuz hes cats when bad so does not passed nyc inspections , he dont want aftermarket cats he wants to go only dealer so sold it to me for 4500 like i said car seems well kept every single thing he change timinng belt etc has been done dealer , just the thing thats bothering me a bit is the high milage , u guys think i got screw $4500 any advice would be really appreciated cheers
Awesome video
Thanks!
Yooo!! I love wild bill's!
Fun trail for sure!
Have you ever tried trxus swampers in the snow? If so what do you think about them?
No I have not. Maybe someday I'll get to try them out.
What kind of tool box and size is that. I'm looking to put one on my 2017 SR5
It's a husky from home depot. I don't remember the dimensions of it.
Looks like a great trip! I love Montana.
You should do a trip to Moab sometime and film some wheeling there.
It was an awesome trip! I was down in moab a couple years ago. I filmed a bunch but haven't posted any of it. I'm thinking about doing up a video of all the clips.
I also have footage from when I was in sand hollow with the Tacoma.
@@JustinTBraun you should edit something up. Rock crawling is more my style 😁
Love the videos man! Thanks for leaving out the shitty music that others find necessary. Nice build by the way. Keep it up.
Hey thanks! Will do!
Hell yea dude
🤘
What air pressure are yall running? It doesnt appear to be very low! Thanks
I usually run 1-3 psi. Was at 2 psi for most of this video
Is high pitched whinning noise from transfere case in low range? How obvious is that noise from within the cab with windows up or down?
It's from the supercharger
I noticed that you hardly got stuck, what was so radically different about your 4 wheeler compared to your friends trucks? Was it weight, or clearance? Because you moved around about pretty effortlessly. Thanks, it was a great video! I’ll be looking into your your mods
Probly the tread pattern on his tires and they are probably snow tires.the snow was powdery and it must have been the first snow fall because the wheels we're going right threw to the ground but you could tell the frost was in the ground as well.if it was heavy wet snow you would have been a lot longer going threw the trail.alot harder on the engine and transmission.
Love the supercharger i was considering it on my 2003 exta cab.. id get annoyed of that wined out rev limiter after a while lol
It's the sounds of the gods! 🤣🤣
What trail were you on? Wild Bill or somewhere else. I live right down the road.
I believe we were on wild bill
Is the truck still ifs? Some big ol tires on that bad boy
Yes sir!
what size are those tires and what did you have to do to make em fit
37s. Got a video on that coming soon!
Why does it make that noise?…love the truck I’m in the market for one
I have a 01 4 door gold tocama, wondering where and how much you spent on supercharger
I lucked out and got the supercharger with the pickup
There pretty expensive, 2-3k unless you find used which is rare.
That is pretty dang accurate. They are getting crazy expensive
Can we get a rig tour of that green 90's toyota pickup that was with you guys? I'm building one atm and would love to see what that dude is driving :P
That was a random guy that ended up tagging along with us. I'm not sure where he lives.
Lol it's the 'lil ricer that could! That whine! I'd love to stuff 37's under my '98 Taco but i get enough rub with the KO2 275/70R16 I swapped (still on the ratted out stock TRD suspension). The metric KO2's seem to run much larger than the old KO 31x10.5R15. How much lift are you running?
1-2. I did a bunch of cutting/tubing the cab and extended my bump stops some.
@@JustinTBraun Thanks for the info! Hoping the new OME spring and coilover setup will get me enough lift to comfortably run 35's. Just don't think 37's are in the cards for my gen 1.
@@ByteMeDammit no problem! 35s are a good size tire!
What psi did you break the bead ??
I didn't break a bead. I'm not sure what the other guy was at.
So never been trail breaking in the snow. Please explain why you drive so slow through the deep snow. Are you hoping not to get high centered in the deep snow or does the slow moving help pack the snow so you can keep moving?
Sometimes you have to creepy crawl so it packs the snow and the vehicle dosen't break through.
I think it also has to do with traction being best without tire spin. As soon as you start slipping tires the snow breaks up and you lose all traction.
Anthony’s rig is pretty cool though
Creston valley is awesome!
Yes it is!
I need some nice tires like those on my Taco
They work awesome!
haha! it does rub... still sweet tho.
Only once 👌😁
Great set up what tires are those and what air pressure did ya use
amzn.to/2FftdFW
1-2.5 psi
New build!!!!!
I like that idea!
Is that considered the medium difficulty trail or the extreme for that run? They have 3 different levels of trails correct?
The highest level. From my understanding.
Overtime Garage cool. I was always wondering from their club videos if that was the extreme trail. I’ve been wanting to get up there and go on that run.
@@jason.k30chevy31 it was a lot of fun. It would be neat to get back over there and do some more exploring.
Hot knife those tires and they will do tons better than they already do! My buddy has those in a 40 on his 83 Toyota pick up
I know. I usually do but don't have a separate set of snow tires for this one. With how many miles I put on these ones I don't want to hot knife them.
Wanted to ask why studded tires aren't more of a choice given the conditions.....
They don't help with deep snow. They are designed to help you with traction on ice.
Love your channel. What did you do to make your headlights so sweet? Is it film?
Thanks! They are just some ebay specials.
@@JustinTBraun well they definitely make the front end look badass!
@@jodiwright4920 I agree! They are not bad for being cheapos
@@JustinTBraun I’m in the process of buying a 2003 Tacoma. I’m getting a double cab but I think the xtra cab looks better.
Double cabs are awesome! Same wheelbase as the extended cabs
Lmao I went up Mary’s peak this weekend and lowered my tire pressure to much and my front passenger tire came off the bead too😂
Time for beadlocks!
Overtime Garage ikr😂then I’ll run 5psi...snow wheeling is my favorite second being sand dunes
@@traxxastmaxx2.5r75 I run 1-3 psi all the time without beadlocks.
Overtime Garage what would you recommend for a 2014 Silverado 4x4 leveled on 10 ply 33s😂 no beadlock
@@traxxastmaxx2.5r75 what wheel does it have
Is the silver 4 door taco super charged asswell??
Yes
That Tacoma sounds sweet what exhaust does it have?
2.5 inch into 3 inch. 1 cat and 2 mufflers. Links to the parts are in my amazon store.
www.amazon.com/shop/OvertimeGarage
You guys should build her a taco very similar but with a 5 speed so you can compare them
I think she is wanting an auto so it will be a little easier learning in the rocks.
Where was this? AWSOME 👍
Kalispell Montana. Great place to go wheeling!
What year Tacoma is this?
2001
What sizes tires are you running and also re gear and front locker?
37s, lockers front and rear, factory 410s
Overtime Garage I guess the supercharge mush help with the low end power with 37”. I have one just like yours with 35” and just stock motor. Low end feels super sluggish. It needs re gear. What locker is install on yours?
@@asianboi08 yes it does. And the doubler also helps a bunch. I put a arb in the front. Factory rear
My friend has a Honda Civic with 44 inch Super Swampers and a V8
What kind of tires are you running and what size?
Patagonia. 37s.
Tires-amzn.to/36rIPOx
I just got some Patagonia mts for my 3rd gen taco just haven't been wheeling with them yet.. they look like they did damn good for you though
@@alanschwartz1173 they have been working very well so far.
@7:14 the best part “ uh oh pats cummin’ “ take off and the TRD Supercharger revving
Noiice!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤘
I have an "03 SR 5 V6 4X4 extra cab I bought new 17 years ago. Has only 90,000 miles on it and drives like new. Nothing, not even dash lights, has ever gone wrong with it. They're the best. Local Toyota dealer keeps trying to get mine from me. No way!
I 100% agree. They are simply amazing! And ridiculous comfy for a daily driver.
Sell it to me🍀
@@rickeycooley9139 🤣
Would chains help?
No. Airing down the tires helps the best. Gives a bigger foot print.
1st gen is the best period!
Ditto!
Right on bro
Is your truck auto?
Yes
if only someone makes full winter compound and siping AT/MT tires... seeing tires slip on a little dip in the road makes me sad. Has anyone gone snow wheeling with regular street winter tires?
Hmmm 🤔
What size tires is that supercharged taco on?
I'm on 37s
So 17" wheels? Are you running a lift?
@@kohlgossler7083 yes 17s. 1-2 inch lift
How do you like the setup? Have you ever had any problems with de beading? Looked like you were pretty low in psi. I'm about to get some 35's on 15's. I really want to go 37s but I'm worried about the front end. Hoping these new 35s will last me till I'm sas.
Great video by the way!
This trip was a blast!
😁🤘
Supercharged?!
Yes
I think with a set of chains your taco would be unstoppable
Lol the chains make it worse. Airing down the tires helps more. I usually run between 1 psi and 3 psi in the snow.
@@JustinTBraun I have special made wheels that I can take the tires down to 0psi without breaking the bead. That said in snow like that I can get even better results at around 9psi WITH chains on.
I saw the post on 1st gen Tacoma on FB
Awesome! 🤘
hi what engine do you have?
Supercharged 3.4
@@JustinTBraun here in norway we only got diesel engines,,,mine is a 2004 2,5 turbo D4D
The diesels are rad! We don't get to many in the smaller pickups here in the states
Man, your supercharger whine is soooo much louder than mine! Then again my exhaust is sooo loud, hard to hear anything over it.. Haha
You must have aftermarket intake eh?
It has a smaller pulley as well. And yes aftermarket intake
@@JustinTBraun Sweet! Mines just stock pully. But I slapped the blower on a really high km motor that had been in a accident and on lid.. So I'm playing it safe with the boost for a bit.
@@DirtGarage they love the boost! Itll be fine with a smaller pulley haha
@@DirtGarage MOAR BOOST!! they love it!!
This is where chains are for or studded tires
They would not help with this much snow.
Great video sounds like your power steering is low lol
Lol thats the supercharger you hear. Power steering is all good!
@@JustinTBraun supercharger!!! Shut up and take my money lol 😂
🤣🤣yes!
Wouldn't snowmobiles be quicker?
Well yea lol
Is you truck electric?sounds it .
Haha negative. Supercharged 3.4
Where you at because I want to go wheeling with my favorite UA-cam and I have the Toyota as well
Idaho! Haha thanks man!
Holy shit you answered
Always!
Manual or automatic?
Auto
I have a walkaround video on the whole build on here.
@@JustinTBraun looked at your videos great build really good looking truck💪
@@kikorubio5996 thank you!
Build her a older Toyota. Hit Matt bleeping jeep up he has one not sure if it's fs but worth a try.
Go tell him to sell it to me! Haha
What would you build for her?
We are leaning towards another Tacoma. Possibly a jeep of some sort.
@@JustinTBraun - Another XJ would be good!
We have talked about that too
That moment you realize you mostly drive to snowboard lodges with your tacoma....
🤔
Why put so big of tires if your truck isn't even lifted
Because bigger tires work better when off roading
Low center of gravity is better for wheeling. Less tippy.
I broke ball joints on a quad up that trail
That doesn't sound like a good day!
Ya my buddy later total my other quad on the way back
It was an eventful day
That is not good at all!
Ya I show photos but I don’t think ya can post pics on here
Love those 01/04 Tacoma’s had two . Still got one 2001 the 2002 got hit head on 60 more crazy woman on wrong side four lane road yo work. Best truck I ever had! Fuck me🤥
They are amazing! That's no good 😕
Overtime Garage yell bro ! Broke my heart man I got banged up a little . That poor lady got hurt bad man. I feel really bad for her , never knew why this happen, think she got sick and just went out, god bless her. Her daughter said mama not supposed to drive, I forgave her . I got 2018 now, it’s a great truck! Miss my 02

Turn that heat up!
Mabey I'm missing something. 🤔
The heat is up. Have to get out to help get other people unstuck.

Please why is the crying like that
Lol what are you talking about?
