Casey LaDelle said to come over to your channel. Great Cat.
Awesome! Thank you!
Man I got to say watching these videos just make me dream of how cool it would be to Rally around like that.
sure is a great fun
The off camber stuff freaks me out! The motor and transmission are working so nicely in that setup.
I believe cats can do around 40% of camber
Most old timers say that you will freak out before the cat will actually roll,
Off camber sections were freaky but it looks scarier than it is. Fluffy snow like this is very forgiving,
To roll a cat like yours would take a lot more
You just end up side hilling or crabbing basically when it’s of camber like that
Biggest issue with off camber is when the track comes off. That's a total pain in the ass out there digging out enough to get it back on. Lol
@@sinksalot8860 “know your limits” & than back off few % 🤔😉🤣🤣🤣
I had mine stuck at 45 degrees forward and 45 degrees sideways to the driver's side. Dug out the front and powered out in 3rd, I need a winch system like yours. Only been stuck that one time since 2008
@@budnixon Exactly!
Love the old school look of Tucker son cats! They look like loads of fun to drive! I drive Prinoth Bisons at the ski resort I work at but have always liked the looks of tuckers
Yes they are! Thanks for tuning in
Thanks to Casey LaDelle I have a new favorite channel!!! Outstanding videos!
Thanks Benny, welcome
Funny, was watching a Casey LaDelle video, he mentioned ya and then this video was on my recommended! You got me!!!!!!!
LOL... that youtube algorithm... :)
Very calming to watch this Tucker go through the snow! Thank you for sharing!!
Yes, that was the point of the remake of the video, just pure cat footage, no extra stuff to distract the view
Great SnoCat videos! Sno Cats sidehill quite well. Trick I was taught long, long ago (1960s) when helping USFS & SCS do winter snow depth and moisture content measurements in north west Montana was if cat starts to tip immediately turn downhill. This turns heaviest part of cat down lowering center of gravity usually tops it from rolling. Might be stuck, but at least upright. ;)
Thanks again for the videos!
PS: found out about you from Casey.
Great advice, thank you
Casey LaDelle needs your help. His Jeep tracks aren't big enough to get his customer out of the Cascades snow.
:) I heard they got the guy out :)
@@budnixon Yep, finally did...on 3rd attempt.
Tucker's are very good on a side hill I have had mine at a 45 degree lean going forward. The front axle is solid to the frame, so whatever it goes into the cab follows. The rear axle articulates and keeps the tracks on the snow. Been stuck worse than your last video, I dug out the front and powered out in 3rd gear. Chrysler 318 5 speed manual
👍🏻🙏 loving mine
Pure Awesomeness! Thanks from Seattle. I like the flags!
Thanks for checking in
casey ledelle mentioned your channel...awesome !!!
Thanks for checking in
Paused prepping my jeep for a New Years' snow run to watch this... Tucker definitely goes where I can't, but sure gets a guy in the mood! Waving atcha from Tacoma Wa
🤝🤝🤝🤛🏻
Just came over from Cascade heavy recovery! 🤠👍
🤛🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👋
Wow, what a machine ... I remember these vehicles from Sir Edmund Hillary's Trans Antarctic Expedition in National Geographic
🙏🙏🙏
So relaxing this video..at the end there should have been a hot tent with a nice warm stove by a lake with a couple of holes drilled in the ice, but....
Our favorite play area had a mega fire go through it couple years ago, closed to access at this time, but there we had - warm tent and ice fishing as well
Love it!! That looks like so much fun! What beauty and how peaceful it must feel out there. Pure envy here. Glad Casey sent me to your channel!
Thanks for coming
Same here. Just found out about bud
Think the Tucker Sno Cat we used was early 50s 443 hauled on early 50s Chevy truck with almost flat 'A' like ramps with high point over rear dual tired truck axle. Used about 3' long ramps. Gear included snow measurement equipement, 3 pair of snowshoes (2x Bear Paws and 1x Alasken), 2 sets of big wooden skis, 2 heavy sleeping bags, and and other emergency supplies including some food. Snowshoes and skis had bindings that fit normal boots. Never broke down or got stuck. If we had we would have been on our own as there was no other big snow equipment in that part of country at that time.
Sure sounds like a great adventure 👍🏻
Beautiful footage it looks AMAZING 🤩 on a big screen 🤙
It really is! Thanks for tuning in
Really cool movie and Sno Cat. Thanks for sharing

Haven’t gotten it stuck yet, but it’s all possible

It’s been my dream to find that powder as well
Another nice stroll in our Beautiful cascade mtn. Was that last year's burn area? Talk Soon and Happy New Years
I think it’s years ago burn, don’t think it’s recent
Is there any advantage with the four track versus a two track unit? Any models of Tucker to avoid? Thanks!
I can only speak about the one I have and I like it, in my opinion there are both advantages and disadvantages in certain sense.
I think two track machine floats better, but a four track does not lose its momentum while steering
You could do some amazing recovery with this
I’ve done couple while out n about… it’s capable for sure
Sick!!! Would you say the Cat sank in about 60% or so of the total snow depth? Without a base I don’t even think my snowmobile would make it through that.
Couple of my friends came to visit on snowmobile‘s and they were having a very hard time even staying in my packed trail.
dude that's epic!!
🙏🙏
Now that's what IAM talking about 👍🇺🇲👍
:) :) :)
What happened to your DMC? I used to love watching you guys camp in that?
DMC got sold like 6yrs ago 🤦♂️🤔🤣👍🏻
Came here because of Casey LaDelle
welcome
Awesome Videos and Tuck Snow Cat's machines
Thanks 🙏👍🏻
How does the SuperImp compare with your Tucker snocat?
They are two different machines and in my opinion are meant for different purposes
Do the owners install locking differentials in the four tracks?
I would guess so, mine is locked from factory
Which snow machine is a good choice for first-time buyers?
One you can afford 👍🏻🤷♂️
Have you seen cascade heavy rescue? Casey ladelle.
yes, stay in touch with him
@@budnixon
Must be a friendly place.
Can you talk him in to getting a real sno cat instead of a snow car? Lol.
Have fun up there!
@@brucebaxter6923 he did acquire a cat in the past not too long ago, not sure why he didnt keep it.
He is not too far from me, I cat around close to his location
@@budnixon
Oops.
I’m in Australia and what you drive gets called a small snow cat and what Casey bought gets called a snow car.
I did like his little snow car but I agree with him that the Jeep on tracks is more comfortable and about as useful.
With the weather I see on UA-cam that you two go out in I keep saying in a friendly way he has a toy size tracked vehicle and should get something about the size of yours with a big Diesel engine.
your going way overboard with the title man, using a lot of words just to grab attention, raw footage means its unedited, this is very much so edited, and well you did a good job with it, saying its raw footage, if it where true, it would be a worse video, not better.
and the "Best EVER" stuff is just ... please, be more professional, this isnt 5 minute crafts
Lol, we’ll, caught your attention
There is an edited version on my channel, and this was not an edited (meaning all clips simply joined into one story line without cuts)
I’m yet to find any other more cat video in such way as this trip was

10? :)
