Appreciate that! Really happy with this project so far. I really want to make a product that musicians will rely on, and can be obtained an at affordable price!

Awesome stuff! Thanks for sending me the link. Prices seem fair, I might just get a DIY one.
Electronics stores on different continents sometimes have slightly different components. I could supply my own resistors, leds, midi jacks, etc, but I can't find those specific buttons and 3 way switches anywhere in local webstores, I've been spending a lot of time looking for those as I could use them in my own projects. 3 way toggle switches are all much bigger here and the only similar buttons are very tiny. Buying them from the US might get expensive in shipping, so I would much sooner buy a full DIY kit than just the PCB + AtMega chip. I might find it all on eBay or AliExpress with free shipping, they're probably out there somewhere, but this might deter some people from ordering a DIY kit. Maybe it's just me and my local stores that have limited variation.

That makes a lot of sense. I tend to forget parts aren't necessarily as easy to get when you're out of the states. This seems good enough reason to also provide a full DIY kit. Thanks for the advice. Yea, those SPDT switches (0.1 pin spacing) are super tough to find at an affordable rate. They are on Mouser but are priced at like $3.50 a piece! Yikes! Fortunately, I was able to get a large batch through ebay. Thanks for your comment! Ill let you know when I make the final release!

Nice and simple, love it! Count me in if you go ahead with a DYI (PCB + AtMega chip) kit.

Can you put multiple of them on different midi channels?

Hi, thanks for the question! As of now, I do not have this implemented but curious what your thoughts are. What would your setup be? This would be an easy software update and could be adjustable using some simple sysex messaging. Let me know!

@@spacebraincircuits1358 hi there! I do a lot of freestyle live synth music and I wanted to connect 3 or more of them on different channels each on there own synth in sync (I use behringer synths so they don’t have squanders or keyboards just the raw synth) Ik this isn’t the most efficient way but it just appeals to me as it would be very simplistic for anyone to use (I have a lot of people who have never made music use my synths and your sequencers look very simplistic compared to someone using a beat step pro they look very plug and play)

@@britishfireworks Hey! I definitely understand now. Yes, I tried to design them as simple as I could, so I appreciate that! If are interested in purchasing, shoot me a message prior to ordering and I can assign the device(s) the midi channel you would like. This is the quickest way for now. Thanks again for the interest!!

@@britishfireworks Okay this is a good idea for sure! I went ahead and got this implemented in code. Version 2.5 will have Midi channel assignable for both In and Out, which means you could do routing! all updatable with sysex messages which I will post on my github. If you are interested in trying, shoot me a message on etsy and Ill hook you up with a discount as well! Thanks for the advice.

AA batteries are cheaper than that 9v bat.

Agreed! and can provide more power! As long as the device is getting 9 volts, it should operate just fine!
