The Gold Radiance looks the best .
They both look beautiful on you. Just depends on the look that you’re going for. L’Essentiel is the most dewy of all these new foundations that you’ve recently reviewed. Parure provides a little coverage, a more snatched look without looking too flat. I tend to go for a more dewy look during the summer months, so I’ve been wearing L’Essentiel nonstop since receiving it. I might have to check out Parure or the Sisley one for the upcoming fall/winter months. Thanks again for this awesome review! Much appreciated.

Hi Abby very useful thanks. I wanted to get your opinion on these. I think both look good on you but just slightly prefer the Gold one on you. I could not get my shade in The Essential one so am hoping to swatch the other one at the weekend. The packaging looks so luxurious!
Just to mention John Lewis.com have the Guerlain Parure Gold and ship internationally with a separate fee per order for those not wanting the annual Selfridges 55$ fee.

I really liked the dewy side on you. At first the full coverage side looked very uneven when you applied it but when it dried the coverage was much more smooth. You look beautiful with both on. 🌺

thanks for this video. i just purchased the guerlain gold foundation i am the color 1N i am the lightest but i have rosecha so they lady at my boutique really spent time helping me find my shade and what would be best and since i have red blemishy skin i got the gold foundation.

I'm on Dez phone for some reason my UA-cam isn't working on my phone..I love Selfridges 👍 depending on the currency..It was way cheaper but I love how they package the items..Only bad thing you can't return used products or if the shade is off..I've shopped with them for years..I think personally I love the more glowy, skin like as that's what I go for..But both look great on you..I can't use medium/full coverage as it ages me 😂 It's been so hot and I have 2 rouge rewards for $100 each and is about to expire..BTW Dez says Hi ❤ I'm so happy to see your channel growing,great video..Stay blessed
Thank you so much for doing this review. I have been curious about the differences between the two of these formulas and I have been very interested in the Parure Gold for a couple of years now. I wish it still had the solid black bottle, it was so unique looking! FYI The Guerlain Parure Gold Foundation isn't exclusive to Selfridges. It's available in many, many different retailers. They both are!

Your observations were right one. I do find undertones to be so complicated. In the past, I was always matched with a slightly yellow shade to mask my rosacea redness. Now that I know longer have any redness my old shades look so wrong. I find that the neutral slightly cooler shades look better but too cool I think is a little aging- as I said it’s complicated😉 XOXO

To make things more complicated, if that is even possible ...factor in oxidation. Oxidation is the pits.
Great review Abby. I always love a glow but your review was spot on because for some people a medium to full coverage is needed. The Parure looks great for that. I ordered the Surratt Dew Drops due to it being fragrance free. Of course matching colors is the hardest part for me so thank goodness for free returns. I think you will really enjoy that one...let us know after you receive it. xoxo

Hi Abby, I like them equally for different reasons. I like the Gold for the coverage and the Essential for the Glow. They're both beautiful depending on how much coverage you want for that particular day. I agree that the alcohol and fragrance are a bummer but as you said it's not something you'd wear daily. I really do love them both. Great review Abby! xxoo

You described the likenesses and differences perfectly.👌🏻 Although I avoid fragrances in any product, I loved that the Parure provided slightly more coverage without a makeup, heavy look. Definitely looking perfected for an evening on the town, although my nights consist mainly of watching my UA-cam peeps. 💓😂💓
I am absolutely hooked on Glo Skin Beauty Solar Shade SPF 50. So much for my other seven or so sunscreens ...Glo is the absolute best. Thanks for that, Abby. Also, I await Tom Ford’s Translucent powder - which is, of course, totally your fault. 🤣 In addition, on its way to my house is a blush in the shade “Bliss.” I cannot imagine why I chose that one. 😙💗💗💗

Alisa- I have been avoiding them but don't know if I can much longer... they look so darn pretty and the packaging is to die for! Okay- what colors do I need? I don't live by the Chantecaille counter - thus the reason - I don't pick up as much stuff from them. I like to see things in person.... but I might need at least one or two. xoxo
Michele did some great swatches...I ordered the Pangolin which is a more lavender color, and lion which is goldish (I have blue eyes). I think you should go for Elephant. My only concern is that there is some fallout after listening to reviews. But..part of our $$ go to the animals, so there is that!!

I still like the natural glow foundation on you. Does the scent smell like botanical?
I would consider trying since I like the finish even if it has fragrance in it. The TF eye makeup is very stunning.

OMG you guys!!! FR, the one time shipping charge at Suffrages is worth it even if you only order from there two times in one year!!!! Shipping from England can be almost $55 per order, depending on what you have ordered!!!!!!! PLUS, the fact that the products are a little cheaper on their site makes it worth it. You actually end up saving even more than if you were to go in store to buy!!!!!

I can figure out the dewy one..some days it breaks up on my nose and other days it doesn’t. Do you have a primer suggestion to help with this?
I use the Guerlain L’Or Primer with the L’Essential and find it works well for me - it’s the one with the gold flecks running through it

I prefer the Parure side....however, I have both and I am REALLY liking the Parure, for myself.......there is just something about the Parure, just has a little more finesse ......was surprised at how much I love it. Also, the Surratt arrives today, I’ve always liked his but not the application, looking forward to giving it a go....looked great on Michelle. Funny thing, the Guerlain’s are both at the drugstore here...so odd and why is the question that it’s here before there......usually it’s something to do with spf? Bottom line for me on you, the Parure looks great and maybe a tad more finished.
The Sisley has yet to arrive in Timbuctoo .......def going to give it a try when the camel arrives with the shipment, he’s probably resting at the border. You look great in any foundation. Elaine xx

@@AbbyBlissWhite You know what - it's really crazy - you guys get all the good stuff right off - and oddly, when visiting the US - I always used loved their drug stores for many reasons - you get all kinds of different things (even candy)...........oddly here in Canada - at least in Toronto, we have brands like Chanel, Guerlain, Lance, Urban Decay, etc...........and still adding. And we also have Gravol - my go-to to 'sleep helper' when necessary - which is not available there - again, odd? I do not understand how 'the powers that be' decipher what's good to go or not? I’m still watching and really loving the content here. Really helpful! In fact, you might not like the Chanel bc it’s going to be light and glowy. Seeing the nuances of these two, you really explained luminous dewy vs radiant. The Chanel is my daily go to face when I’m going for that put together, no makeup look which of course we all know takes longer to pull off! Haha.

I am just so curious why no one has ever recommended it to me- I have the CC, Vitalumiere Aqua, Sublimage, Les Beige Healthy Glow... you get it.... I still need to try it! LOL!

parure gold is expensive but it better than cheaper one. more younger skin i feel prure gold. sadly in the material field. money is best friend and money can buy beauty and youth.
