I'm so excited to be sharing this full review and wear test on the Guerlain L'Essentiel Foundation! I wear the palest shade in this foundation (I wear the lightest shade in most foundations...) and as a very fair person I know how difficult it can be to find a pale foundation with a good neutral undertone. So in this review not only am I covering the application, longevity, finish, and coverage - but I also included swatches of this foundation next to the palest shades of other foundations I own.

I saw your video on my Google home page and had to watch. I bought this foundation but havent received it yet. May 3rd is my delivery date. Im glad I watch how you applied it. I usually use a beauty blender but will try stippling. Im also glad it didnt oxidize on your skin. It still looked beautiful at 11 hours...Im a light medium complexion so I purchase light medium shades that are neutral. I actually forget the shade number I bought but its a beige, neutral for light medium complexion. Ill come back to your video after Ive tried this Guerlain foundation. I love Guerlain lipsticks too. I have quite a collection of the designer lipstick cases and lipsticks. Your video for @guerlain foundation is quite helpful so, thank you. I ll be back to watch more of your videos..
I just went and checked the shade I bought from my sephora order details. I ordered O35N. Its a shade for more of a light tanned complexion with neutral undertones. Im excited for my order to arrive May 3. Just thought Id add that detail..

Thank you Justine! I’m so sorry, yes it definitely has a scent! For me it’s not as bad as the Dior forever skin but I know everyone has different levels of sensitivity to fragrance so I always like to mention it!
I love the bottle but unfortunately the pump, after the third use, popped off. I managed to put it back on but it isn’t the same. When I use it I have to work the pump and It’s a lot of work. As far as color, I am very fair (like you) and luckily, for me, it doesn’t oxidize and I love how it looks and feels. But it just doesn’t last, maybe six hours max. Still love Guerlain. Thank you for the review. I absolutely love your channel.

Thank you Karen! 🥰 of course! I used my favorite daily moisturizer (glow enhancing cream from Renée Rouleau) and sunscreen (elta md very clear).
