the facts might be screwed, but that's not to say you can't use the same skills to make the right armor for the faction/game you actually want.

Evil Ted fucked up. First the thumbnail shows NCR Armor and Power Armor. Then he shows Fallout 4 Gameplay even though NCR Armor is from Fallout NV. Then he says "Are you ready to join the Brotherhood" even though it's NCR. Bruh....
Video title says "Fallout Armor", power armor in the thumbnail because it's a iconic part of the franchise next to the prop to be made. The chestpiece has no special properties show why they will show a clip of a character wearing it?. And last he's talking to the viewer aka player, whic can join any of the groups and it has nothing to do with the prop itself.

Since most requests don't get filled, here's a very quick rundown of how you'd do it.

Print out the template to 110lb or higher Card Stock paper. Fold it, glue it. Once everything's together, reinforce the inside with either resin, or you can ghetto-reinforce it by soaking dry baby wipes in white glue and applying it like paper mache. Once that's done, reinforce the outside with either 6-10 coats of white glue, or resin. Sand down the bumps, fill in any gaps or seams you missed with either more glue/resin or something like bondo. Paint it. Cut out the green bit, sand down where you cut, get a piece of plastic and cut it down to fit where you cut. You don't need to cut it to the right shape; just cut a rectangle sightly bigger than the cut away area and fix it in tight to the inside. If you get a green plastic you can still see through (Canada Dry ginger ale bottle?) you don't need to paint it first. Otherwise before inserting it coat the plastic with something like Tamiya PS-44 Translucent Green. Once that's all done, get some padding for a bike helmet and put it in where needed for comfort.

You should have made it a little more form fitting for the sake of movement. As it stands you only have a very limited range of arm movement and that kind of kills the cosplay aspect, 'cause nobody would use armor like that.
Agreed. Even if it isn't used for cosplay it just looks to if and unfinished. It look really silly on him.

also the prop barely looks like the real thing and he got carried away with the battle damage
might of worked better with a thinner foam as the base and curved it more accurately, this was a rush job.

JayPG I agree with the latter statement; I have a set of it (almost complete, just need to finish my helmet up). Just saying it's kinda dumb to mix all that up when trying to market the video to gamers that know the difference. It's almost to the same level as saying you're going to make a Skyrim Dark Brotherhood item, and then do something from Oblivion's thieve's guild.

Evil Ted is a great DIY prop maker probably one of the best choices for a show like this. He's got amazing skills even though you had to cut it down a lot the detail and core of how to do the build still showed threw. Love his channel and his work with Bill Doran (Punishment Props) is always cool.
I'm a huge fan of Evil Ted! Now this show is taking a huge leap forward.

It wouldn't exactly be too hard. You could use a similar method to this with the template, all it would require is some thick metal and a very secure way to attach it to yourself

This provided lots of help with my future cosplay, video was very helpful.
Some good ideas and techniques, Can't help but think it looks a bit too big and boxy though, maybe should of made it fit better.
I'd say it should be curved towards the neck a bit more, give it a more rounded look from the side.
well, on Ted's tutorials on his channel. He uses a mannequin to size up/make a template. I think the reason he made like this because this show supposed to make easy and less time consuming props
Not to mention cheap materials. This is more of an afternoon project that you can finish in a day.

Love the host this time around. And you guys definitely need to have everyone collaborate on an entire Fallout costume complete with a weapon. Might I suggest the Shiskabab or the infamous Railway Rifle? Definitely my favorite weapons from the fallout universe. :)

if you wear it for an hour i guarantee it will break in 30 mins to an hour. and im not about to carry a hot glue gun with me while im at a con
if you make it right it won't, maybe use better glue, but you can still follow these instructions
If you go to Ted's channel, you will see that is what he does. He also uses better gluing techniques, but are not as budget friendly as this channel's methods.

do it yourself. look up the Internet for templates. It isnt that hard to find them. The building process is the Same like here 😉

How does the hot glue not burn through the foam? Mine always did and I ruined things that way sadly. I have a cold/hot and a hot one, but apparently I have no idea how to use them! I might need a different glue gun? Idk, comment if you know what I can do. Thanks ^-^

pretty good, though I think a slight bend along the vertical center before putting on the neck guard would have been a good idea. just seems a bit too flat without it

NCR are chumps. If you wanna join a REAL men's faction join the Legion. You got slaves, you got women, you got good looking armor, you got cool rank names. Profligates like you belong on a cross.
