Yeah Ted is the best host around, as his not doing half ass job like most of the previous hosts. Odin is good one too, but then there was some who just trow something together and called that turd what ever it supposed to be. Like Ted said, the art is in the details and those should never be forgotten.
Hellsong89 also he caters to everybody like those who have the proper tools and those who do not have them.
Finally some really well made piece from prop shot. Must be honest. The other ones are kinda unfinished, like my english... But this revolver came out pretty nicelly.
It's because this one, unlike the other guys on the show, is a professionnal ^^
He has like 20 or so years in costume making, probably even more!

I will, thanks for the tip. Me myself, not a pro, but I make better stuff then the other guys and have like 4 years in cosmaking. I just don't understand why make videos about things that look awfully unfinished.
Uhhh.... this one looks just as 'unfinished' as others. I am sure these are fast builds no matter who is doing them but this is not higher quality compared to Odin and Vinny. There are flaws within the revolver just like any other props that are made here.
N 'So The only thing that was kinda bad on it was the painting. Can't say the same for the others. But I agree, not top quality.
go to Ted's main Channel and he will blow you away with the work he does with the proper tools, better quality materials and a longer run time. You can also check out Bill Doran's channel at Punished Props to fill in some knowledge gaps.

Video is of decent quality but the content is not that great and the project is kind of "bleh". Its just a carved foam scuplture. The really bad part is anywhere some actualy tecnique was being applied and a good narration to explain it would have been awesome, there was just a little pop up caption about it. How does heat accentuate detail cuts? Or using a wood burner to get fine detail. No instead he explains a glue pot.

One of the better examples of what good material choices, good research, some skill/knowledge/time will get you. I can't say I'm a fan of the paint (I despise plasti-dip) but it's a really great build.

I find that a blue undercoat works nice for grey metallics as well as black, while brown does the same for gold and bronze.
I go on a crazy spree and watch all the videos on this channel and then I kinda forget about it. Then, one day, one of their videos is recommended to me and I go on yet another spree.
