I saved my money to buy the 45 after school, these things took weeks in the planning back then, the price of a 45 had shot up from 99 cents to $1.20 I still have that 45 and I got to see them perform this song at the Countdown reunion concert in 2006, they still fit into those leather pants, they had not put on a single kilo in 3 decades
I can never forget back in 1978 and hearing this what I thought was a classic in the making, even as a cover, it was just so good then, and this has never left my memory, I think it was played on 3KZ and the DJ said, " this will be played in forty years time and will still sound as good then as it does today" I loved that version, he was right on the money, damn good, thank you Molly, Lyndsay and Chrissy great performance by all.
I have happy memories hearing them sing this at the Arkaba Hotal as the opener for Norman Gunston. They also appeared as the "Gunstonettes" on the same show. Must have been 1978.
@@Mick_4591 Session singers mostly for pretty much anyone and everyone big in Australia. They were with Albert records so anything connected with Harry Vanda and George Young back in the day requiring female vocals I would guess. They did a tour in 2007 - but being well in their 60's now I don't think they tour any more.

Hi, have been trying to find this version for a long time. So many thanks and cheers for Australia.
cheetah , partridge family and the party are only 3 of many artists that covered this classic.
Timeless quality
Sure is a long way to Bang Bang........
Were they Stevie Wright's back up singers mid 80's?
The best cover. It's better than the Ronnettes
Put plain and simple all they are is a straightened version of heart
Luv email go hotties
The sound is TOO FAST!
You're right, this recording is 6% fast, making it sound in Bb major instead of A major. I'd import it into Audacity & edit it.
Chrissie, the dark haired one was prettier...
both beautiful ladies
Yeah I d throw I length in to one or both
the sound is quite strange here they sound like chipmonks!
Their voices are deeper than this!
