Update: Removed the sealant and instead used black silicon gasket then tied my halo rings using nylon thread (used in fishing rod) for added security.

The chrome coating should be removed from the decoration as the paint won't hold long on it. Then wet sand with 1500 and paint with paint for plastic. I've using the same rings as yours but I advise you to use different drivers for them and I made myself aluminium rings to install behind them with thermal paste to prolong their life. Some of the drivers they come died even before the installation. Also when closing the headlight use strong plastic clamps to hold the lens on the housing. I'm holding the halo rings with 0.25mm galvanized wire. I find it much better and less visible than fishing wire.

Since painted and it will looks like smoked headlight my concern is kumusta naman ang BEAM PATTERN of your low beam projector and hight beam reflector? Still the same ka Liwanag parin bah? Or what? aside sa angleeye which just serve as your parked light lang naman at d naman ganon kaliwagan means just for looks..
Yes sir, aesthetics lang po. Di ko pa na try sa gabi, mukhang ok naman kasi malakas ang LED ko dahil keon siya. Kung nabawasan man ok lang

the downside about this is after installation, after a few months, water will start to leak inside the headlight.
moist will start to enter the headlight specially during rainy days. i have it installed in my altis.

I think hindi naman Sir since naka sealant ang dinaanan ng wire. As long as fully seal using sealant, walang problema. If nag momoist pa rin then add silica moisture packs.

Hindi po sir eh. Initially di ko rin alam ang size for montero. Sinipat ko lang sa labas then just assume the best mm size for your headlight.

Need ng fuse sir or relay. Tap mo sa parklight, trigger lang un, ung power source is ibang wire papunta naman sa battery sir

not many will use red wire for the earth even if the polarity doesn't matter common vehicle colour black for earth/negative just curious why you used red unless you ran out of wire colours :)

I have been following all your mods and improvements and learned quite a bit. However, I'm concerned about this mod because the seal will not be as good as the original and water will seep into the lights, and also those cheap halo LED lights would burn out after sometime. Eventually you would have to replace the headlights.
Thanks for your inputs sir. Clearly, there are risks involve not only with this type of mod, but for all types of jobs.

Tama lahat ng procedure mo boss😊 kaso ang mali mo lang bkit sealant ng headlight na ginamit mo😅🙃 pang dikit s angel eye dapat po yong sealant n pang salamin (color black) ginamit mo o di kaya yong sealant pang engine gasket gnyan po secret n ginagamit ng ibang retrofitter headlight matatanggal lang po yan s katagalan lalo na pag nakaparada ka s labas at nka tutok ang araw s sskyan😂 pustahan tau boss hnd pa mag dadalawang buwan tanggal n yan at uulitin mo ulit hassle lang diba😔? At isa p po panget ng wiring na ginamit nyo🙃🙃 ang kakapal dapat bumili kayo. Match ng kapal ng wire ng angel eye meron po nabibili s lazada o di kaya s shopee. Yong Sealant nman po meron din s lazada o shopee n mabibili n pang headlight tlga yon po gamitin nyo wag po yang sealant n yan parang awa nyo n s sskyan nyo hahaha 😅😅😂🤣
Last nlng to pangalawang edit kona s comment 😜 maling mali po pag sara nyo s headlight 🤦 dapat 15 minutes na pinapaikot mo yong heatgun s gilid ng headlight n lalagyan ng sealant rubber hanggang s lumambot ito pero dapat medyo malayo tutok mo s headlight para di matunaw yong plastik ng headlight pag lumambot n yong sealant rubber tsaka nyo na isara naku boss mag momoist lang yn dahil hnd naisara ng maayos dpat nanood ka mona ng tutorial video rito s youtube
