What a nice looking suv. And as for the infotainment system, it is faster in response than Cadillac CUE system, which GM has worked on for improvement on the 2016 model years.
What's the point of disliking? Nobody forced you to watch, people. This is a decent video and review, apart from some minor mistakes.

The dash is just so slick, that its all plastic, and doesn't show quality in any details. The same central instrument panel is in the Fusion, Edge, Flex, etc. Nothing sets it off as luxury.

this car is not bad but definitely needs work to be a serious threat to its competitors. the rear is nice, its very Porsche Macan-ish. the interior though looks cheap and the dash design is not luxurious at all and the front end..........well, i feel like i have been looking at that from end for some years now....oh thats right, its been on the MKZ since 2013....so why now just incorporating that front end design on your 2016 car when its already looking dated. look at lexus with their spindle grille, they had the IS, GS, RX, LX, GX...all come out close with a uniformed design, not when one model is getting old and the next one come two years after, by that time the old car is getting ready to be redesigned.

Push button controlled transmission? How original if you don't count Chrysler using it starting some sixty years ago or even that paradigm of styling success- the Edsel.
+Dan Troop its basically a rule that if you are a luxury brand you have to do something "innovative" with your shifter. I will give Lincoln this, at least it works, unlike jag (that rotary dial thing is the stuff of nightmares)
+roguedogx I'd be lying if I said I didn't look down at the dial and anticipate it not functioning (the "handshake) every time I start the Jaguar. I do love the car though!
PuppetMaster1950 agreed, there's just something nice about a jag, they always look good and they generally have a good feel to them.
roguedogx Yes. The roads aren't flooded with them, I usually manage to strike up a good conversation with a fellow Jag owner and they don't feel like anything else I've driven (but keep in mind that I haven't driven the Bentley's and Rolls-Royces of the world). The car still makes you feel like you're part of an esoteric (not superior) group of automobile enthusiasts.

It's so irritating that the press always states that Lincoln is just a pimped out Ford. You never hear them say that Lexus is just a gussied up Toyota or that your Cadillac is just a rebadged Chevy. Why is that?
If you see a Lexus or Cadillac, you don't think Toyota or Chevy. If you see a Lincoln, you see Ford, because the design is extremely similar, especially inside, with the same engines, same platform, same size, etc. while Lexus and Cadillac have their own platforms. They make Lincolns look like an afterthought.

Wait a year or two longer just so I can get the latest tech dash screen?.. What about buying this car now, and then getting the tech update when it's available? I like this American made car a lot as is... Have you seen how ugly the new Lexus RX is?.. These car guys who don't actually have to buy anything are jaded as heck, aren't they.

how in the hell does lincoln expect to be taken seriously asking 60k for this car! seriously??? I am insulted by that figure, Ford / Lincoln, learn to crawl before you can walk! you may have once been a great manufacturer of cars but face it, you got sloppy, you got what you deserved with all the drama of the unions bleeding you dry on strike and the Japanese got in there and stole your market. you better seriously get back on your mark and try to win back something that doesn't depreciate 20k within the first year of ownership. this is horrendous
