My favorite video of yours thus far! Because it’s Bretonnian!!! The level of care and attention to detail you put into even just these core troops is incredible, the end result is just gorgeous. So excited to see this part of your collection grow. ⚔️
You need to hold the spray can closer when priming the models. It will stop the paint drying as it hits the model. This is why you are getting that gritty look
Always enjoy these videos... I know painting can be a bit of a grind, and a challenge to get through. Glad you found a part of it that's like meditation!
Great channel you've got going here! Looking at the video thumbnails and the prints you got on the wall, is there a place to look at your illustration art as well?
Thanks mate! 🍻 Unfortunately not anymore as its been a couple years since I’ve picked up the pen. I’ll be having a special episode this week about illustration so stay tuned 😊
I have had a similar relationship with green in the past. >I broke through that by painting a sqaud of Pestiliens Plague Monks! now im onto 6th edition Orc and Goblin army and I love to paint Green skin!
Lovely nostalgic miniatures, every 90's kid has painted one of these! You forgot to show how you painted the eyes though ;) Also, I notice that there's a ton of ISO flickering in your headshots in your room - did you film during the evening instead of the day as usual? I would suggest working on the lighting in your room if that's the case :)
Thanks mate! Yeah blame the big head for getting in the way of those eye shots 😂 Yeah had some lighting issues but definitely something to work on. I’ll add it to the list haha
Thanks mate! I use a Raphael Kolinsky sable for all my layers and a Army Painter Precise detail brush for most of the details. Try keeping that brush a little more wet while you paint, that might help!
Hi mate! Thank you very much! The brand is Vallejo 😊 I would probably put a white coat over the black before applying the yellow as you’ll have a hard time getting that yellow to pop and stand out. I hope that helps! 🍻
Batch painting 21 Night Goblins right now, lol.. But they can be done simply so... Not that bad. But batch painting ain´t that fun. But sadly needed sometimes.. Nice tos ee these dudes, I always liked them..
I'm the opposite way. I can't stand painting minis one at a time and almost always batch paint. Even if I'm doing a character, I'll also work on a related squad at the same time.
Strange the models all in open stance have pulled the bow chord right back without a flight. I guess the fingers are just incorrect for letting loose. :)
Yeah I don´t mind prepping.. Cleaning up and so on.. I have a YT vid in the background, like this.. :) Then scrape and file the mould lines and so on.. Therapeutical as you say.
well me never had a thing with batch painting you do one coloer as get last guy you do coloer two and sofoth or thats just me will see as your new post
I really like Your painting. Refreshing. I really feel there is too much "fancy" in the hobby. I see You have put a white basecoat to a point where surfaces become textured. I am guilty of over spraying myself. This makes glazing and washed hard in my experience. Sadly the only way to get rid of those is to strop whole paint of the model...
Thanks so much mate! I appreciate it! 🙌🍻Yeah it’s all about having fun at the end of the day and not stressing too much about the little mistakes 😊 Yeah I’m having some some issues lately with that basecoat. I was thinking it’s the extremely high humidity we’ve been having! I’ve just been pressing on as the end product isn’t so bad.
You need to get “Bitching and Batching” on a T-shirt, you’ve encapsulated the process of army painting perfectly.
Haha I’ll get the screen printer ready
@@anvilofdoomminiaturesblue with yellow text for me please!
And on the back of the shirt it says Batch Pain
These look fantastic. I orefer this style of painting as the models pop more on the table. Keep up the good work

Lovely bit of retro brilliance; nice work mate!

Fantastic as always! Some bright chaos demons or maybe tackling a scenic diorama could be fun to see.
Thanks dude! I’ll add those to the list 🤝🙌
I really enjoy this colour scheme, well done!
Thanks dude! 🙌🍻
This is a cracking step by step painting video! Short and Sweet! Subbed and liked
Batch painting is such a chore but you knocked these out of the park dude! Fantastic video and fantastic end result to the archers
Thanks so much mate! Glad you like them 🍻🙌
Nicely done. Cheers. And yes. You are obviously learning.
Thanks dude!
Another great video mate, excellently presented as always, and the minis look great.
Thanks so much mate! I really appreciate it 🤝🍻
Excellent as always. Only down side is now you need the command models......
Thanks mate! Yeah that might have to wait until next year haha
Beautiful mate
Thanks dude!
New subscriber here mate. Can’t wait to check out your other vids. From Melbourne.
Hey dude! Thank you! I appreciate the support 🍻
Love them! Got a whole unit that still required painting.
Thanks mate! I’m sure they’ll turn out great when you get around to them 🍻
These turned out great! Those old sculpts are great (aside from the goofy faces. Hah)
Thanks so much mate!
Yes sir! The weekend is off to a great start!
I’m glad I helped get it started on the right foot 🍻
The whole method is great and looks so good!
Thanks so much mate! I’m glad you like it🙌

They look fabulous, great job yet again, you’re on fire my dude! 😂😂
Eyes? my bretonnian archers don't have eyes. Great work.
Haha you know how it should be done. Thanks mate!
so good !!!!
Nice work.
Thanks man!
Awesome job as always mate.
How about some classic Lizardmen sculpts to complement these Bretonnians next?
Thanks dude! Yeah I’ve been on the hunt for some classic Lizardmen so watch this space 🙌
90 of these in one week :D The old Bowmen were so easy to paint, that batchpainting them is not to hard
90 in a week?! I did 78 in a year haha you’re a machine mate

You feel my pain! I’m painting an old black orc champion next so fingers crossed it fixes me haha
Embrace the batch painting. It's glorious! 🤣👍
Haha I’m slowly getting used to it 😂
try water colours for the eyes, if you go wrong with dotting the pupil in, you can do a complete reset in seconds with a wet brush and try again
Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely give that a go 🙌

Oh yes, my Saturday morning 90s drug.
I have a few of these, always thought the sculpting was a bit messy, turn out I'm just bad at painting
The best drug of all! Haha
Thank you for your sacrifice.
No worries at all dude 🤝🥲

It’s Vallejo Dark Green 😊

Time to knuckle down and focus on getting a single army painted my dude.
