Many thanks for your thorough review.
Thanks for a decent look at this watch and usability. Too many "reviews" are just unboxing videos that don't give any helpful info. Nicely done!
The best review. Well done!
Good morning - Excellent review of what I hope is as great a watch as you describe. I just ordered mine yesterday (8-24-18), Thanks, Terry
Good morning CWR - My watch arrived just the other day and is just as described in your presentation. A terrific timepiece !! I am quite sure you don't work for Amazon (just kidding) but your excellent video actually sold the watch. Thanks so much for the great supply of information - your presentation could really replace the owners manual. I also wanted to thank you for your response to my initial comments - that has become somewhat rare these days. All the best to you and yours, Terry
Great work on video mate greetings from Spain
Cheers. Big help👍🏻
Sounds like the watch your looking for is the prw3500/3510 series. has all the features that you wished this watch would have....But I guess you already knew that. This watch is a great alternative for those who don't see the sun a lot or are out of range of transmission for the atomic clock. I own prw 3000's 3100's and 3510's , and this watch has all the functionality of those minus the solar and atomic features, and it shows the same readout results as the PRO TREKS. Highly recommended. Be full warned though....battery life is rather dismal at 1 to 3 years for this watch.....
It doesn't calibrate itself. You have to manually calibrate the compass, barometer and altimeter. The compass and barometer doesn't require regular calibration, but the altimeter does.
Barometer and altimeter use the same sensor, a pressure sensor. The third sensor is a thermometer.
It is a good watch. You have to calibrate the correct height from a web place, so the altimeter can give you more exact measures.
I just bought one very strong and durable watch I like it a lot.👍
Is there a way to change the altimeter reading from meters to feet?
Hey, I liked this review but I have some questions. Can this watch be used underwater to display depth? How long is the battery life?
Do you know where I can get a replacement strap for a WQV-1?
Nice
my watch has the wrong altimeter reading as showing as minus 41 meters & wrong barometer reading, is there a way to change that?
Hi great review right there , how accurate are the measurements of this watch. I was doing some recent research and this is indeed one of the most affordable and great overall quality triple sensor ABC watches. How’s yours holding up after several months of use. I think for what it does it’s more appealing for me and many others than the latest smart Protrek over 300 dollars and abysmal battery life.
I just purchased this watch and I'm wondering if replacement bezels are available for it? Or if you could point me in the right direction for aftermarket watch parts? I have searched watch part companies, but its not clear to me who would be reliable to deal with.
Nice review. You didn't mention the AUTO LED, which is an awesome little feature, which works when you turn the watch at a certain angle. So to activate it you hold the light button for 3 or so seconds and the watch says LT at the bottom. It was one of the neat features to find when my friend bought this watch recently
