Good news - you do not need any special tool to get that black angled fuel connector out of the fuel pump - it is actually very easy to release - just push the white ring down then the black connector down and then up - it will pop right out. Hope that helps for next time. There is a video on here showing how it is done. Thanks for posting this - very helpful for my filter change. Hanging the bike from the ceiling proved to be a task! 😅
Nice job Chris thanks. Is it true that the "black tube" fuel line disconnect (where you used 4 small screw drivers) is a push-push design? (push on, push off). I'll try it on my Enduro and advise. Removing the battery is a great idea. Taking pics too. Haven't changed my air filter in a while so I'm afraid I'll find plenty of crap in there, particularly after riding 130,000 Kms here in Mexico.
Once you depress the little spring loaded parts on the black fuel line gently pull up. It should pull out easily if all the little parts are disengaged. Thanks you for watching.
Great vid as usual, could you tell me what torque settings you used when putting the crash bars back on ?? I've to do this job as well as I've to replace my fuel sensor which is very similar minus removing the fuel tank.
This is insane. All of this just to change the Air Filter! Thanks for the detailed step by step.

No wonder why it's like a 500.00 service!
Might as well do the demo maintenance as well

Worse than a Goldwing air filter change and wow - that's bad. Why are bike manufacturers not making basic maintenance items more accessible.

Good morning, Message me through my Instagram @fentventures and I can email you the entire torque spec sheet I have from Ducati. Have a great weekend!
@@Fentventures Thanks for your help ;-)
You are welcome. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel.
That is a nightmare!! 😭
It really is. Really bad if you ride offroad and need to replace filter often.
I have a 2018 Multistrada 1260 S, not the Enduro. Is the air filter changed the same on it as the Enduro?
As far as I know, yes. You could confirm by looking up the parts diagram for your bike.
Also Chris - can you share the filter part number and Amazon / eBay link to purchase?
I believe it is only available through Ducati. I am not aware of an aftermarket replacement.
Hang your bike from the ceiling 😂
Seems like a logical recommendation, right??? 😀
İts just a air filtre:/ we dont have to make desmo service for this... :(
no more offroad for me!
Lol
I bought one last month... Wish I would have seen your video before... This is really bad engineering man.. 😢
Thanks for the video!
