I changed mine without taking the wheel off. A 5 minute job and like you my pads only lasted a little over 8000 miles and I replaced them with ebc pads. It will be interesting to see how long they last. Can’t be much worse than the OEM at a fraction of the price.

    Nice job Chris.
Anytime you're near Mexico let's go for a ride!

Thank you for watching. At this time, Mexico is someplace I don't intend to explore unless it gets safer. My perception is that it is not safe. I watched Itchy Boots travels through Mexico and there are places that even she was incredibly worried and definitely situations I would want to avoid. Not being native to the area, brings risks of not knowing which places are safe. Same goes for some US cities though. I wish you safe travels and if things change and we plan a trip down there, perhaps we can meet up.

@@Fentventures I'm not worried about safety in Mexico. I'm Canadian - been here for 9 years & ridden high end motorcycles about 600,000 Km's across the country with zero issues. Mind you, awareness in Mexico is key (dealing in bad business not a good idea either). Otherwise life is great.
Yes, your perception is commonplace, particularly with media focused on cartels. It's unfortunate.
Ironically, I feel safer her than most other places in the world haha. Feel free to keep in touch thru Facebook.

I was wondering the same, I have a 950 and I'm thinking about replacing the brake pads myself but if the rear wheel has to come off then I better pay.

@@santiagomoreno696 you dont need to remove the back wheel. its like 20 min job, very simple to do. no need to even remove the break assembly. pull pin, remove old pads, install new ones, put the pin back in.

The EBC pads were the correct ones? Checking revzilla and they match the model in your video
