I had a similar situation with my wife. She stroked out when this came in, because I already had a Vevor racing sim cockpit with 3 32in screens and new computer. My wife started fussing and I said, “your right, I’ll put this all on Marketplace and sell it. I love racing and there are some guys at work thats been telling me to buy a race car and go to the track with them. Since you’re always saying I need a hobby, I’ll start looking for a race car and a trailer.” My wife knew I would do it. Problem solved. Lol!
Wow!!! That's a fantastic flight simulator setup!! I am an old school simmer from the eighties 😃..and I built my first rig in my 2 bedroom apartment.. LOTS PLYWOOD AND DUCTTAPE!! ( The sim room stayed locked from prying eyes 👀) As. a diy builder I got a lot of stuff from thrift stores ie. Goodwill..garage sales ..Army Navy. and dumpster diving. Necessity is the mother of invention. I was getting my PPL at the time so. i used the home sim to help in my training. Now i have a trailer that is dedicated to my sim needs and it's great!!! Thanks for showing everybody your set up..... SIMMERS UNITE!!!
Pre build sim rigs are impressive, but to me DIY sims are more impressive as the people (in this case YOU) use a lot of imagination and skill to pull this off! cool stuff
i have a very Unique and Awesome Chair for my Simulator. The thing is that i was gifted a brand new eletric Dentist chair. so naturally i decided to build my Home cockpit around that chair. its perfect. but as we all know Dentist chairs are contolled from a Joystick for the feets on the side or on on the back of the chair. so i had to rewire one of the joysticks to flick a switch and then then its controllable by My Left VKB stick other than that its perfect for building a Full space simulator around.
Hi there. I noticed in your video you managed to get your racing pedals working in this flight Sim rig. I am struggling to get this working for my racing setup and would appreciate anything you can do to give me some advice on this. The steering wheel is not a problem as it will mount on my desk but what do I do with my thrustmaster racing pedals? Please help. Thanks very much.
oh man, i want this bad, but i worry it might sit too low for the rest of my set up, can its height be adjusted ? even with some finagling and customization / additions bolsters between the chair body and metal stand ?
If It had armrests id be sold. but It don't. Reason being is I used to play with 2 bar stools holding my Stick and throttle to either side of my chair. my Arms about died after about 20 minutes of playing. it was not long after that I made my own costume chair set up. that while its not pretty compared to factory made set ups like this. It is VERY comfortable, sadly after 5 years of use, the chair is wearing out and I need a new solution.
Curious about the stability of the the yoke bracket/stand. Looks like there is a little play in that. Do you see this as an issue? Has it caused problems? Thanks!
This was something i was originally concerned with but as long as you tighten it well. you shouldnt notice it while using the yoke. It was a little loose in one of the shots of this video cause i had been messing with it. So occassionaly yoy may need to tighten it again. I mainly see this as an issue with aggressive movement on racing wheels cause it to loosen up
yo lets go we getting the military edition for Christmas! 2 days cant wait oh and thanks this review helped a lot to get my parents to get it for me btw is it compatible with the x56 hotas
That is one cool setup Blu 😎. I have the next level F_GT but I'm a bit of a chunky chap and find it hard getting in and out of the cockpit, this looks higher off the ground and would probs be easier to get in and out of. Nice ! cheers, Daz, UK.
Yea its higher for sure but dependkng on your setup can still be challenging to get in and out. For example i have to step OVER my right mount to get in cause my desk is on the other side
Pretty dope! I noticed that it seems quite flexible when you have the wheels, so one can just roll it in when you wana fly or roll out when you done flying, how long does it take to connect the devices to the pc once you roll the setup to your pc?
I believe all the thrustmaster pedals can bolt down. Im using the turtle beach rudder pedals. I dont think i can bolt them but there a notch at the end of the foot plate on the chair that keeps them from sliding off. Hope that helps
Its good for long sessions. But after maybe 4months + the cushion may sink a little for a less comfortable experience. I currently have a soft blanket laying on top of the seat.
Omg I think I found the next thing For me to throw money at that I don’t have because I need a new hobby. This is so f***ing rad. I tend to get obsessive about things so I could definitely see me going all in on building out a home cockpit.
Awesome review Blu! Unfortunately as you put it, if I could afford it than I would buying this chair in a heartbeat along with the PC and all the other bells and whistles to go with it! As I always say, perhaps someday…
Hey nice setup! I just bought one too!! Hey do you know the width of the pedal plate frame included? I’m trying to see if it will fit where I want to put it! I would appreciate any info on that you could give me! Thanks!!
Blu good evening enjoyed your set up and overview of the Next Level Cockpit. I own a set of MFG rudder pedals, I'm wondering if MFG peddles can be mounted to Next Level cockpit. Thank you for your continued excellence in sharing your flight sim experiences. Wheels up and fly straight and level.
What tables do you have? I would like to use use 2 touch panel monitors for a pfd and mcp. I use a 43" TV and would like the 2 panels to be below and in front of the 43 " TV. And by the way thanks! I just subscribed and have a buddy I will forward to you who is a former commercial pilot and now does corporate stuff. He is talking about building another sim. Thanks man !!!!
Can I ask your opinion on the position of the Bravo throttle? It seems like it's in an awkward position. I'm HEAVILY considering this rig, but I want it to be comfy.
aaawwoooh cute doggos, dont be mad at him, hes a baby :) , and was prolly having stress, boredom/pent up energy or separation anxiety, try playing with him, walking him, giving treats and lots of love before you leave so he will associate you leaving ( and returning) with positive plus will have some energy burned off, also, get him used to you leaving, so he understands you are coming back, do your normal ''leave the house'' routine: get your keys, walk out the door, close it lock it, wait a few seconds come back in, give fuzzy baby lots of love, wait a few minutes, go out the door, walk to the end of the driveway and back, come back in, walk up street and back.... you get the picture - do this fora few days and gradually lengthen the time you are outside before coming back in, try these things; after a few days to a week, he should be more chill and not build up nervous anxiety when you leave. but keep the eat, play, walk, treats, happy goodbyes in your leave and come home routine as much as possible so he has that positive association. hope this helps.
@@BluGames ah no problem man, happy to help, i have always loved fuzzies, and i have worked with people as well as had my own since i was a young child, dogs, cats, even horses, its all about positive association for them, and these things also work, with an anxious or bored cat, and even horses, its often times a combination of fear of the unknown, are you coming back?, under stimulated and bored, with pent up excess energy. hungry, need to go bathroom duty, and sometimes nerves on edge from a change in routine, so if you try to keep your routines fairly consistent as much as possible, and like i said, lots of love/ affection, , exercise, play, and a full tummy before you leave, and when you get home, lots of love, a few treats, walkies (go bathroom duty ) , play, lots of love :-)
I dont thing this can allow to put in there a Direct drive wheel, too much torque for this tiny central support. Now, for Flight sims i think is the best right now.

How awkward is it reaching your honeycomb bravo? That’s my only hesitation in buying this.
Let's go! Been watching you since the Infinite Flight days. Nice to see that you have this insane setup and moved to PC simming. I did the same :D
Yea its crazy how far we came!! But its been fun!! Such a huge blessing
Can you tell the the height you are at from the bottom of the floor to the top of the cusion? It would help a lot, thanks!
Blu is the real deal. He had his set belts on.
Wouldn't wanna fall out during those barrel rolls.

cheers for this Blu. always wanted one of these. looks absolutely amazing! great vid! 😎

Yes i do
Hello there!! Thanks for joining fly delta. Lovely to see u
Any time! Thanks for coming by. I been flying delta for a while
Can yoy have the MCDU and the side stick and throttle all attached to the chair that my only worry before buying it
It depends on your setup. Theres 4 main areas for mounting things left, right, center, and bottom for pedals
All married gamers need to have a gaming Prenuptial agreement! It worked great for me :). Love the new seat BLU. Your setup is DOPE!
Hahahha so true
I noticed at 4:34 the yoke mount seems to have some play in it. Is that from the frame, or the yoke itself?
Frame
