Good review Shane, thanks for the work you put into your reviews keep up the great work. Looking forward to what this year brings for flight sim. Cheers
I built my flight sim cockpit around a Playseat Challenger, an Xbox series S with a TM Hotas X /w rudder pedals. My monitor is a Spectre C40 40” curved screen and is quite heavy so I didn’t want to fool around with a flimsy monitor stand. This is where I got Next Level Racing’s monitor stand, I can personally vouch for the excellent design and build quality from NLR. In the future I will seriously consider the NLR’s flight cockpit when I upgrade to a PC and have a permanent man cave.
It's one of the more tempting cockpits out there for sure but a shame this video was more of a sponsored ad than an in-depth review. If you make other videos with proper reviews and a lot less stock promotional footage in the future I'd jump in for a proper watch to really get an idea of what this cockpit is all about outside of the sanitised company approved lines.
Mine required modification to fit my stick. I have a virpilmongoost base with the 200mm extention. I had to cut the steel tube and weld 16 gauge sheet metal plate to sit the base on.
Hello. Love your videos. I have this Boeing cockpit to. Love it but how do you mount the bravo throttle. I find using the clamps. It sits too far back. When I’m flying I feel like I have to reach far back. I even put the cockpit mount two holes forward. Any suggestions. Thanks
I have never really considered a setup like this but I am now. I'll have to see how all of my hardware would work with it (additional panels perhaps). Doesn't seem too outrageous on the price (not cheap but nothing in the flight sim world really is).
One thing that almost no review talks about: When you mount a Honeycomb Bravo Throttle on this seat (source: I have one myself, the Boeing version), the throttle is way too far in the back, and you have to have your arm in a very uncomfortable position. Strangely, Next level Racing had images with the Honeycomb hardware on their website I think, but the images have vanished since. Don't get me wrong. The seat is awesome, but for the Honeycomb throttle, you might want to mount it with some custom built mounting plate or small table. This is information I wish I had before blowing out 1k bucks. Not that I wouldn't have bought it, but still ...
You are absolutely right. It obviously looks too far aft for comfort. Was thinking of getting one but the throttle plate position doesn't look comfortable to me, too far rearward. Were you able to find any solution to that?
Great video! I just bought one too! Hey what is the width of the pedal plate frame included? I’m trying to see where I can fit this thing! Any help is much appreciated!! 👍🏼
I have an fgt as my simrig, it's not great but you can buy the accessories to convert to flying although you will need to drill holes as the recommended ones are to big for me as a 6foot 2 male. There's also a company that makes quick releases, so you can quickly swap pedals bases and sticks n stuff.
Been really tempted with this, however I watched a vid the other day too that mentioned a few issues on mounting the honeycomb throttle well. Also on your video, it does look like it flexes quite a bit when you were using the HC yoke too, tho maybe looks worse than it feels in use
I have watched any number of videos regarding the Next Level cockpits and none of them show where the computer is situated - I keep imagining having to have extensions for connection - would appreciate any comment or advice as to how this is done
Hi SamHall76, besides colours and materials all editions have the same mounting options it depends which is your favourite look/aesthetics of colours and seat.
Warning: reviewer fails to mention that this cockpit does not work for honeycomb throttle. It sits in a horrible position regardless of what mounting plate you select. Clearly, he has no interest in doing an in depth and honest review as he received the product for free.
I actually use mine with the honeycomb throttles. The cockpit, comes with a straight bracket that is suited to use with the throttles. Please don't assume what my interest are, as you are being misleading. Thank you.
Great review thankyou. The quality looks topnotch too.
Hello mate, hope you are well.
@@AusFlightSimmer Doing well thanks buddy.
What do you prefer more: The NLR Boeing Edition or the Trak Racer TR8 Pro?
Good review Shane, thanks for the work you put into your reviews keep up the great work. Looking forward to what this year brings for flight sim. Cheers
Much appreciated! Thank you Allan

Next Level Racing is at another Level🙌🏻🙌🏻
Great little cockpit.
I would dare to say, on the next level. 🥁
The price is actually pretty reasonable. I think I know what I want for Christmas (even an extra early Christmas) this year!
Thanks for checking out the video.
that bee just wouldn't leave him alone. i've heard bugs in australia are on another level.

Great video, definitely some awesome products out there.
Thanks for watching! Cheers TP

Thanks checking out the video Sammo.
Great Review Shane. I myself have the Honeycomb Yoke and Throttle setup.
Very nice to hear.
"Wasn't a problem at all". Means the centre yoke console does wobble, it's not really noticeable when flying.
If you set it up correctly, it doesn't wobble much at all. Its pretty sturdy.
Boeing cockpit lol… just take out the door LMFAO 🤣
Just put mine together I love it
Awesome!!!! Great to hear.
Have one on its way, can't wait .
Wow i need one of them bad boys
Cheers Dave

Wow really mouth-watering, thanks Shane
You are most welcome.
For a moment I thought it was frooglesim.. Nice videos
Ha ha ha ha, I will take that. Love Peet.

Did you use the strait mount or the angled one. I used the straight mount and found it ok.

Did you ever find a solution to make the Bravo more comfortable to use?
I'm looking to do the same setup. Did you find a solution?
Great review and lots of info....Thank you.
Thanks for watching!

Great Review Shane - With the price though wonder would this also double up as a race cockpit or would you need one the race sim cockpits for that .
It will work as a race sim as well. Only with desk clamp wheels.

CARP...TAKE MY MONEY. Thanks for the review, sir...well done!
Any time!
@@AusFlightSimmer thanks for all of the spoon 🥄 feeding to the challenged ppl.

Nah wait till the Yaw 2 VR comes out. Blow this away.. Its full motion too.. Its expensive but geez you'll get the exact real world flight physics..
you could use a Woodworking mobile base if sizes are right, base is universal adjustable ,just a thought
You can get casta wheels, but its till big and heavy.
I’m getting a flight simulator cockpit for Christmas
The Honeycomb Bravo does not look to comfortable to use! How do you find it to be?
Thats the first thing i noticed as well. The throttle position looks awkward and too far aft for comfort.
I recently bought one and it’s generally good. However the seat is very uncomfortable and the centre stick is too low.
Looks great! Too bad I just built an 80/20 rig…
Really considering getting this
I just need a lotto win to keep pace with all the gear 👍🏻
Yeah, its built to last.
is there any diffrence between the three diffrent types of seats. or is it just looks??
I have watched any number of videos regarding the Next Level cockpits and none of them show where the computer is situated - I keep imagining having to have extensions for connection - would appreciate any comment or advice as to how this is done
Would it be possible to mount the bravo throttles next to the alpha yoke?
Maybe, you would have to look at the accessories section on the website and see if they have attachments.
Does it come with a yoke?
No just the stand, all the flight controls are extra.
@@AusFlightSimmer Ah okay thank you!
Howdy
Hello.
Hello. Beside the seat cushion, are there any other differences between the editions? Do they all come with same mounting options?
Hi SamHall76, besides colours and materials all editions have the same mounting options it depends which is your favourite look/aesthetics of colours and seat.
Why are you continually passing an invisible rugby ball out from your chest?
😭😭😭
Is it vr compatible?
I want one!
:)

Does it work with the Airbus? I hate side sticks.
I don't understand your question. I used Airbus hardware in the video.
First
How do you do it. I'm a big fan.
Too pricey/expensive right now eh
Thanks for checking out the video.
It’s only 108 pounds you should not have a problem moving it around.
why do you speak too weird?, i dont know, english is not my native language sorry if this comment its strange xD
edit: nice video and cockpit bro🤙🤙🤙
NLR have a cockpit that has wheels. Can you replace the feet with locking casters?
You sure can.
VR. problem solved
I know rright.
