It is a great design, good ergonomics, the handle scales and sheath look really well done. My only concern about this blade would be the DC53 steel they used to make it. That is part of why it is only $70 but it has kind of been obsolete as a blade steel for a while. Pretty much since Cruwear came out. That is just my opinion though and the knife community is notoriously divided on what blade steels are better than what others. So take it with a grain of salt. Other than that, fantastic video and I hope your channel really takes off!
@@cpcombine thank you so much for your kind words and good wishes for the channel! Yes to me the handle is really well built and comfortable. I don’t know much about this steel other than it’s heavy and thick. I do know quite a bit more about the more premium steels like 3V. I’ll be reviewing a Hinderer KA-BAR if you are interested in that.
@@LucasCarroll-m9r then I guess you would never get the $50 if the bear won lol. A smart bet would be to bet money on me, at least you would get paid then. Lucas, seriously tho, thank you for the comment on this video.

Looks just like my work tuff gear Elbrus
@@CraftyCleetus I’ve never had a chance to see that blade yet.
The knives they sell are very much like what Eafengrow sells.
@@tomnickell1276 I have yet to own an eafengrow knife.
I’ve got $50 on the bear.

Definitely a WTG Elbrus clone.
@@LucasCarroll-m9r I will have to look into that blade. Thank you!
That's not a big knife, and not very thick. Who are you trying to convince? The bear?
@@johnmutton799 it is a huge knife and the steel is VERY think. The bear would not need convincing
