Interesting point you got there, but there is a problem: Smartphones get better each year and people constantly upgrade them. You can see this when apple launched the apple watch gold, not a lot of people bought it, because the watches kept getting better and better each year. It's not like a car, where you buy it once and then you don't need to change it, with a phone, if you don't change it regularly, you will be missing out on a lot of features
Mmm yes that’s a fair point. Perhaps the luxury tier would come with some 5 year upgrade policy…although that comes with a cost to Apple of less frequent upgrades so that’s a factor to consider. Thank you for watching!
