I'm not a vw fan but this test it's not trustable 100% because of the driver's skills. The way how the car is driven can influence the test. It's enough to make a small mistake and the test can fail, no matter what kind of car is tested.
Para el peso y dimensiones del coche parece que tiene buen chasis. Evidentemente un Honda Jazz que pesa menos y es más pequeño le barre en esta prueba.
This car is a bit heavy, it needs wider tires. It is FWD or AWD with up to 50%Front/rear so nothing special about handling. The speed in this test is because of the Electronic Stability Control settings which doesn’t brake the car too much. With a more aggressive setting this car and any other car of this weight should be able to do over 80kph. But it doesn’t matter too much the speed because you can push the brakes yourself in case something is in your way.

Alfa Romeo Giulia did it easily with 78 km/h, while this VW struggles to pass it doing 74 km/h. Other results for comparison: Opel Insignia Grand Sport 77 km/h, Renault Talisman 77 km/h. Don't fall for the so called "premium" cars. Some BMW and Mercedes were also disappointing in the latest tests.
these tests are done all with esp on. basically they show the ability of the electronics to handle a sudden maneuver like this. in no way they show the real capability of the suspension of the car. maybe in the opel and renault talisman the electronics are very sensitive and when something is a bit off, they react immediately thus making the car stable quickly, whereas in bmw the electronics turn on much later. lets remember that in these tests the drivers do not use the brakes, but every car reacts differently based on the electronics, some brake automatically some delay the braking process much later.

Has this test been done with the suspension set in the Comfort mode? (don't understand Spanish but the cc sugests the fact that, at least the 76 km/h test, has been done with the Comfort settings) Why would use the Comfort mode for such a test???
The tester says that the test has been done with the different modes, in some cars, the ESP action changes depending on the mode. No noticeable in this car. I think one of the factors is the tyres.
All wheel drive characteristics should be much safer where is the torque vectoring? Where is brake distrubution? Why e-diffs still can't match vectoring of the mechanical diffs?
It's down to the tires. Put some more expensive and not worn down tires on there and it woudn't slide out. You can clearly see that the car didn't lose control till the tires gave out.
Well, I’m not a spanish expert but it does sound like they say this test is done in normal and comfort mode. So maybe in sport mode it would be better. Also, for this test to be complete, it should be done on dry and wet asphalt. And on top of that it still doesnt mean much, as people have different levels of driving skill. Kimi wont react the same way as some regular John.
They actually said that they have tried every single driving mode without any significant difference. As somebody just told you they are not "average joe" driver's, they are professionals

Basically on slalom the car is good, on the evade it sucks 74km/hr to be close to good and after 75 it become worst in a non lineal way, they tried all the driving settings and it was the same, on 76 all the 4 wheels drifted that was the worst scenario

I'm not a vw fan but this test it's not trustable 100% because of the driver's skills. The way how the car is driven can influence the test. It's enough to make a small mistake and the test can fail, no matter what kind of car is tested.
