In Sweden, we have around 300.000 moose, a lot of deer, wild pigs, badgers, 5 million other cars, unattentive pedestrians, playing children. I do belive you have potential dangers as well. So do not for one second believe that just a good car is sufficient enough. In winter, it's often dark and so are the moose. So you need good lights, the road may also be covered in snow, and/or ice. The Passat and Superb would probably not even make it into the top 25 on such a test. Having owned a pair of CXs, XMs, and a C5 Hydractive i can assure you, it's good. But it's also takes short reaction time, good driving, good tires and enough road plus some luck to do it successfully in reality. A test is to compare cars, you will never know for sure when it actually happens, and you need to be on your toes, mooses move fast...
