Doesn't it become kinda common in these days though? I think most Seiko clocks have this function. I'm not so familiar with modern analogue clocks though.
i have a seiko alamrm clock that is over 20 years old no issues, it did fail me a few times over the years because the batteries died haha that is cool for 40 bucks!!!!

Cool alarm clock. I like having one on my nightstand. Recently purchased a Braun alarm clock with a very clean industrial design and I love it.

I got the green one. Looks cheaper than expected for 40$ alarm clock. Would have been fanboy awesome if the bezel could rotate, too

Very cool Rob! Why can't all quartz movements glide like that?? I've recently ordered the yellow marathon clock.
Power consumption prevents a smooth gliding second hand being viable on a quartz watch and possibly movement longevity.
