I used my 10ft X5 powerfloat rod for the first time recently, fishing the margins. Caught 20 carp from 5lb to 10lb range. Brilliant little rod great action, the rod handled everything. Highly recommend.

I have the x5 power float rod. 11ft very impressed. Stiff but still soft enough for skimmers and roach. However I've handled double figure carp on it also using a bubble float and float gear.

Hi mate, apologies for the late reply. The Power float rod is a little stiffer than the normal model, so more adequate for casting bigger floats or for hard work on commercial carp fisheries.
