Awesome drive! Been waiting for someone to do a drive like this, no music no comments just plain old driving. Thank you. Damm the Interstate 10 has changed a lot in 10 years comparing it to Barbiepoledancer’s I-10 Texas vid.
When I was in the United States for a while, the house I used to live in was right next to I-10. You're willing to enjoy driving, but thank you for posting such a long video!!
You can see the desert is coming to an end at around 3:25:00, not just from the increasingly green side of the road, but from the clouds in the distance.
Hi!! I loved this video! I just wanted to ask if you could go back to El Paso and record other freeways there since the quality and everything was so good in this video? Please?
Wow the remote two lane areas of I10 haven't changed since I last drove it in 1981. San Antonio looks like it is catching up with Dallas and Houston, and better developed than Austin.
At 2:03:30 we pass over the western terminus of US-90, which starts at the Florida beaches east of Jacksonville. Technically, it ends a few blocks north where it meets up with business I-10.
I was stationed in EP when most of the road construction started. Everything turned out to be aesthetically pleasing. Seems to be light years ahead of San Antonio which is a bigger city and supposedly has more money to do projects like EP does. But somehow takes a much longer time and doesn’t look as nice when done. Very interesting
2:45 it's still extremely baffling that Beaumont is signed all the way west. For reference, Beaumont is in the wetlands, and The very western part of Texas is all desert
more rural interstates are being 3-laned, it's happened on I-35 all through central Texas, only I-35 between San Antonio and Laredo for the most part is still 2 lanes each way. it's happening on I-10 west of Sealy now, and I-45 north of Conroe into Huntsville. well, these are the modern times, population growth due to birth rate coupled with migration rate outpacing the death rate.
back when the interstates were being built in the 1960's, Texas used to be simple, 70/night: 65 truck:60/ night: 55 immediately out of city limits, and just about everywhere in rural Texas, now you have a mish mash of speed limits, 65, 70, even 75. no night or truck restrictions as it went away in Sep 2011.
It's amusing noticing all the "Texas 0n and Off Ramps" along the highway. Because Texas runs frontage roads along the side of freeways and makes you drive some distance along them to get to the road you really want, Texans make their own ramps by driving over the grass. 5:14:10 is good example of one of them.

You can see the desert disappearing because look at the difference between 57:11 and 2:55:47 and 4:15:32 and 6:46:26 and 7:45:51
3:24:00 I see this vintage Volkswagen van on the freeway. Did you spotted this van?

What equipment did u use to film it? Could I do it with only a smartphone?
Awesome drive! Just curious, what kind of car is being driven in this video? Nice acceleration/power.
I'm curious, too
