    This is the most thorough Denali video on UA-cam. GM did an amazing job on the interior!

    This is by far the best overview of this truck I've seen on UA-cam; funny the "review channels" don't do anywhere near as thorough a job.

    Awesome job on the video,I just recently purchased the same truck in titanium rush, and I love the updates and quality ride.

    Great review. I still cant decide on this truck or an AT4. And if I go Denali, this is exactly how I want it. 20” wheels with AT tires, and no power running boards

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  2 роки тому

      The AT4 has a great look with Rancho Dual Tube shocks but for a very similar price you will have a nicer riding truck under all conditions with Denali's (RPO CODE Z45) Premium Suspension featuring continuous damping Adaptive Ride Control technology.

      I have a Denali on order like this. The only additional feature on mine is the tech package. I like the 20” wheels and fixed running boards. Oh, but the 5.3L…

      @@WesternGMDrumheller I’m actually not going to wait for the Duramax. The dealership I’m working with has the exact truck I want in a 5.3L so I’m going to take that one.
      One cool thing right now I wasn’t aware of, a lot of the 5.3 and 6.2 trucks are coming WITHOUT Dynamic Fuel Management. Which I think is a good thing!

    Thanks for the information since GMC Canada still has the older version of the interior on web in Canada (I'm looking for a 2500/3500 SRW). Seeing our American cousins get the GMC brand 1st in web & in-person is heartbreaking especially when Canada's web page is stuck still in 2021!

    Great video! 3 questions:
    You said the keyfob deactivates when it hasn't moved in a while? How does this work if I just leave it in the truck? Do I have to shake it before I can start it or something?
    And you've seen this truck in the brownstone colour.. would you go with the black floor liners or the ash grey?
    Lastly does the front camera come up automatically when you pull into a space?

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  Рік тому +1

      Hey Luc sorry for the later reply here. So yes the FOB goes dormant and won't get re activated unless moved. So if you leave it in your vehicle it will go dormant and won't worked unless moved. I personally like the black floor liners but either are fine. Lastly yes when driving towards something slowly the front camera will pop-up automatically if your park assist sensors are beeping.

      @@WesternGMDrumheller thanks for the reply. Good news about the other two but I'm not sure how I feel about the keyfob.. I guess just keep it in the cup holder and shake it before trying to start.. not that big a deal but defeats the purpose of keyless a bit. I'd like to put it out of sight.

      @@LucBouillonRealty the future of vehicle theft security is to have the fob's go dormant so that thieves can't wireless copy them and steal your car in less than 2 minutes. Checkout this video and you will be happy GM fobs work the way they do.

    Where have we come when a half ton truck is going for $100,000...that's before our wonderful 15% HST...totally insane I don't care how luxurious the truck is I paid less than that for my new 19 Z06...we Canadians are being hosed on vehicle pricing.

    Have they fixed the lifter issue?

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  Рік тому

      Yes and no. It seems to be isolated to the older AFM systems and much less so to the newer 2018 DFM systems. Proper service intervals and using the DEXOS2 full synthetic oil is key to NOT having issues.

    • @WesternGMDrumheller
      @WesternGMDrumheller  Рік тому

      Ha they don't but some do have problems. If you look at reliability GM's V8's have less problems per thousand than Ford's 3.5L EcoBoost or Ram's 5.7L Hemi.

      @WesternGMDrumheller  Рік тому

      Firstly sorry your having a problem. I'm not sure what you mean by saying "nothing worked" I find that very hard to swallow. Do you mean that your heated seats, cooled seats, heated steering wheel and park assist sensors didn't work because many of them were missing the semi conductors that controlled them. But eventually GM will send you the semi conductors and it will work. Is that the issue?
