The Endless Adventure Alisson said with passion, I quote verbatim: “We got out it was so warm. There were people all over the place even though it’s 1am & I love. We saw so many restaurants open still. That is one thing we miss from when we were previously in South East Asia. You can get delicious food anytime of day all over the place.” I could not describe better what Allison said. One thing about Europe that cannot compete against Asia is this. Face the facts folks we in U.K. & Europe have not this vibrant 24hr vibe like the Far East or even Dubai! I should know I was born in the UK but travelled extensively in Asia. No daily street food, no late night shopping. No delicious snacks at very reasonable prices. You want a snack in the middle of the night here, go look forward to McDs, KFC, Burger King, and your chip shop! There is just something so tropical, exotic, vibrant about the Far East. I implore you all to visit. Never mind the usual joints of a week or two in Spain, Italy, Greece, Cyprus France etc. Go somewhere a bit more adventurous. A bit more far out.
Eric & Alisson on the way out of Thailand after only spending a short time there said “It was really sad because: I gotta be honest with you guys we’ve grown very very fond of Thailand, we’ve really enjoyed it. Maybe the most different country we’ve ever encountered and then by the end we were like it feels like home”
They didn’t say these kind of words about Europe. 😂
Come you guys forget Europe & go long haul. Ps America is fabulous place as well!

You should be able to get a refund on that ticket, as the airline refused you travel despite having a perfectly valid ticket.

Crazy how fast time goes!! We're loving the Philippines but furiously trying to plan where to go next and struuuugggling. You know the pain 😞 Can't complain though!
You should have done the Dark Cave at Batu Caves. You have to pay, but you're taken on a guided tour wearing helmets, and it's really interesting.
We actually almost did! But didn't have the time or the willingness to pay 💸 Maybe next time!

I love KL. You guys should get some footage from the top of the Petronas Towers. I’m sorry I did not do that last time I was there. But I’ll be back to do just that. I always fly connecting flights through HK, Seoul or Tokyo.

great vid guys shame about Karina's flight. can't wait for more vids of Malaysia, are you going to Penang as this is my mothers homeland. lots of fab food there.... roti's, nasi lemak, char kuey chow so much lovely food and if you try Durian fruit don't be put off by the smell its fab

Great to see you guys exploring KL! We've been there over 15 times to visit family but we only saw the Batu Caves for the first time just a few years ago. Those monkeys are down right scary! 😂 Can't wait to see what else you guys are getting up to =)
We were so glad we didn't have any food or bags for them to grab! Those little guys were ruthless! Glad you guys got to visit the caves finally...they're huge, right?
hahah as a local missing KTM train is one of the worst thing that can happen because you know, 45mins and all. Sometimes some of the stations are closed due to flooding. It's equally frustrating to watch someone miss the train lol luckily it's a false alarm

It took us 5 days to let go of emotional attachments to our homes, schools, jobs, apt.s family, friends and be ready to make new lives for ourselves wherever. They just become less impt while life remains the same, bosses/teachers are gone and adventures survive! 5 days! A new life...tho missing pets (kids if we had any and parents at holidays and if we or they got sick). Otherwise, we wanted open air adventures, meeting special people like a lady ranger who knew all the legends and history of Yosemite. Even our oldest friend who had not left the SFV for a decade, so strong was his agoraphobia, ended up being our shaman/healer, eventually moving to Kuai, then NYC, falling in love...he blossomed into a true adventurer.
Next country visit in my incredible India
Hopefully we will visit one day!
Are there any vaccines you need to do to go to malaysia? As a western? I mean I am Romanina living in Italy and you are American, but I think same rules apply!
