Had exactly the same the other day mate. And yesterday at Abbottsbury spiders were stripping baits and hooks. Braved it for 7 hours and gave up as was running out of hooks 🤣Went to landing craft on Monday and had exactly the same you had in this video! Oh And spag and sausages scran 🤦🤣🤣🤣

Walk 20 mins or more left or right from car park. It's madness down there at moment! I walked to dragons teeth yesterday and it was still rammed! And fresh blacks.. for me outfishes any other bait there. My 2 cents.
You know, I'm not sure if it's the thing to do or how some fisherman don't like saying too much, but would be great if you said what days you were out, as you post so quick from your efforts out fishing, because being a learner still, I'd like to check the weather and times and stuff and learn the best times to get to the water. I understand if you don't wanna say or whatever but just saying. Anyway, awesome vids. I'm hoping to catch a bass to eat one day. Only been fishing 3 years. And rarely get out because of work but every little helps and thanks fir the content matey. Hope to catch you about one day 👍

Short casting and the gutter are all too often ignored by anglers. So much food collects close in that it's always a good area to explore. Those bream were there for a reason and that reason was food. Those bream in turn may have attracted a conger or two.
Superb stuff as always Wayne 👍🏻 Top skill for adapting and catching a few fish when most people would have packed up and gone home or left their bare hooks soaking for half an hour or more at a time! I suppose you can use any size mate. Its designed as a light weight Finesse rig but you can up scale it if you want.
