Superb as always Wayne! Beautiful bream there buddy. Would love a day like that. Just wish Chesil wasn’t a 4+ hour drive for me. (Without toilet stops!) It’s a big effort to make when you arrive and there’s a 30mph wind in your face or baits are getting stripped in seconds, but you’ve got to be in it to win it! I’m heading north at the end of the month for the Daiwa Open on the holderness coast- that’s only a 2 hour drive! Hopefully conditions will be agreeable and I’ll manage to weigh in a fish or two! £2000 prize money would be nice, but more appealing is just a few hours with the sand under my feet! Keep up the great work buddy, and genuinely I want to thank you for helping me out massively with my mental health just lately. You really are a diamond geezer and you deserve every success my friend, peace, love and unity my man 🥰

Chesil is a great place, as for casting ive caught good bass close in,as you are in deep water from the beach, one thing you do have to watch is the waves, you will get the odd one that catches you out, can be quite scary but in summer its one of my favorite places to fish and camp.

Looking slim mate with jeans on don't look like you've gone fishing. Nice video mate and I've always used fixed spools and buy a good one and your hooked. You really bagged up and great to show people you don't need the best stuff or have to cast miles. Well done mate and stay well 😊

Hi Wayne, another great video as you were saying it’s not about blasting baits too the horizon, it’s about using your head and thinking. Not catching on this so change one of the key elements bait, hook size and how far to cast and once you find the fish target them.

Nice one Wayne. I've put off making it to Chesil because my shoulder has been dodgy for about a year. But this has shown me i could definitely give it a go with lighter gear. Up until now I've only really lure fished a bit. 👍

Another entertaining and informative video Wayne, I'm like you a goto multiplier man, in fact I still use my first rod reel set from the 90's an abu sports rocket ct c3 (silver) now mag'd and a daiwa moonraker , I've other rods and reels but these are my most comfortable goto kit. My boys (11+9) are starting to get the fishing bug and for that reason I got them a tronixpro combi of a guerrilla assault and guerrilla surf fs reel , although younger hasn't quite ferfected the cast timing yet . Distance casting can on occasions and at specific marks given you the advantage but as you have just proved its not the be all to shore fishing. 👍

You can cast up to 5oz on 50lb mate

Good video. I only use fixed spools, never used a multiplyer they scare me. Probably go down to chesil again when the wind goes around to the north and will try smaller hooks.

Hi Wayne ive always been a mult user left beach angling a few years back went to carp and am now slowly returning i bought myself a pair of bz5 and chucked a pair of 14000 xtd on them for now (i sold my sea gear off worst mistake i ever made) and im a bit worried if the rods will stand up to the hammering chesil can throw up any thoughts?

Yes mate, BZ5 are weighted for 5 oz, they should be fine if you don't go top heavy. You maybe would have been better with bz7
@TheShoreHunter Thanks if i end up going back to my old marks a lot, I'll end up upgrading relatively quickly staying on fixed spool or returning to mags is something that ill have to decide along the way i guess.
