Yet another culinary delight 👨🍳. I was down there yesterday, right in the middle from low till high, beautiful weather, looked really fishy, but the whiting, pout and dogs coming in 2’s on the pennals, fished whole pout in close, had a couple of bass. Nothing big though.

As the wind is normally blowing along the beach I angle my shelter and my rods so I can see them. I don't like them straight out. You miss slack lines etc

When I lived in Poole used to fish Chesil often, I too remember the foxes at night! Stole my bait too! Never had much luck on Chesil..
