Hi Roger,I just want to say I just love your videos, awesome content. Here in Durban,South Africa we would call that method fishing drift bait, mostly for Shad, you call them Tailer. To assist with staying in contact with your bait and get a little deeper in the water cloum we put a 1/4 oz ball sinker above the hook trace. Some guys put much heaver ball sinkers on but i stay away from that, rather sticking to a more finesse style. Try a small weight next time,it really works well. Keep the awesome videos coming.
Thank you for sharing Roger. Always learn a lot from your posts. In my opinion, up there with the best Australia has on the tube for instructional fishing advice. Cheers.
@@RogerOsborneFishing Hello Roger, I am Canadian and , I have family living in Australia ,and I hope one day I will be able to visited them! Whaching your videos helps me learn your lingo!
Your vids are inspiring me to keep trying despite much success. Had a go at beach worming after doing your masterclass without success- practice is needed I guess. Could you maybe do a vid on what you carry in your bag for tackle , beach / rock etc. i find i just lug my heavy tackle box everywhere!
Hi Roger. Is there more than one gang hook rig you can use for beach or rock fishing? If so could you please show us some. I'm a novice fisherman still trying to learn different ways to set my line up. Love your stinger rig which has caught me quite a number of good sized fish.
Hi Roger, I'd love you to go through your various rod/reel combos and what situation you use them in. Would be helpful for newbie like me who is purchasing gear. Love the vids!
I love this idea I like ganged hooks never thought of using in the rocks I reckon snagging would be less than standard rig die to the slimline style and lower hook exposure Also it isn’t bellambi beach at all haha Can you do a video on line catching larger sea mullet I have a lot of difficulty and I like eating them
It comes down to what breaking strain line that you want to use and the kilogram rating of the rod. The reel needs to be of the appropriate size to hold the line that you want.
Thanks Roger. How does this method compare to using a float to keep your rig above the rocks? I've seen some title thumbnails of videos using that method (but I never watched them though 😅), the concept seemed good but I don't know if it's practical.
Hey Roger, I have been chasing a Salmon for a while now but when using a Pilchard on a ganged hook, the smaller fish just seem to eat the guts out of my bait. Do you have any reccomendations?
Hi Rodger, wonder if you could help me. I’m new to beach fishing and haven’t got a clue what I’m doing lol 😮 just wondering if your near the sunny coast area. I’m watching your UA-cam channel still struggling lol Any help would be appreciated thanks. Ian
Hello roger , i dont know why i get stuck between the rocks on every time i throw my bait 😪💔 the tide is medium and am fishing on the water-break rocks any help? Please
Hi Roger, love you videos mate, just wondering what mono do you use and what the abrasive resistance like. Many yrs ago you use to be able to buy mono on bulk spooks of 4k and 5k mtr but not anymore it seems. Thank in advance Roger. Cheers Jason
Another very informative video….shout out to your camera operator Roger.

Always anxious to see your next video Sir! Always on point! Thank you!
Wife uses bread for bait almost exclusively. I use various batis and she still gets more strikes than me 😊
Classic 😊
Hi Roger I learnt something again thanks.

Hi Werner, Thanks and hi to Cape Town
Lobster jack is beautiful
Another great vid! Thanks for the entertainment :)
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for another great video Roger, what size gang hooks were you using for pilchards?
What he showed there looks like the Jarvis Walker 4/0 size ganged hooks, that you can buy at Kmart.
Yes I generally use size 4/0
Cheers 👍🏻
Hey Rodger! It would be great to see some videos of you rock fishing for luderick with float and green weed as it's the correct season? Thanks

What brand shoes and spike do you have on? What line do you use?
G'day Roger,do you ever salt your pilchards to toughen them up. Great clip and yes tribute to the camera person.
I am not in the habit of salting my pilchards although I think it is a good idea
Love the video Roger keep them up! Would you be able to do a video on how does drag work on a fishing reel and how to best use it?
Great idea
Roger u say your using 20lb test is thar mono or flouro and is it a leader to 20lb braid? Thx for a reply love your channel here in California! Mike
On this line it was just straight 20lb mono, no leader
Great video mate that looks like bellambi beach
Burrill Beach 😊🎣
Thanks for another great video Roger. How do you know what reel to put with what rod?

Hi Roger, l enjoy your videos on Fishing but can you give a video on knot tying? Cheers, John C.
Sublime content Mr. Osborne. Do you reckon this will also be effective on a jetty? Cheers
Yes I fish this way in many different situations

I use Shimano Exage because I like the thin diameter
great video
7:51and 8:20 is that a behind the scenes "cut and edit this" gesture that you missed when editing?
No 'It's come over here as I want to explain something I'm doing to camera' :)
👍
Would love to go for a flick with you legend!
Do you let it sink to bottom
Yes I usually do because many fish species are near the bottom
@@RogerOsborneFishing makes sense thank you
Hi Roger, can we see a jewfish video soon please

@@grimreaper6112 yes I know but with the right conditions like we have had
