Not if it's all put together right, no. That's why you measure carefully where to put the diverter. If done right, once the butt is full, rain water will no longer be diverted into it, and will go normally down the pipe into the drain.
She forgot the water diverter cap.. doh.
Some diverters do not have a cap, this one doesn't. Some building suppliers sell this type, I prefer the ones with a cap (keep seeds/leaves out and prevent water splashes).
is it me or how flimsy is that downpipe after shes cut it lol.
Needs some clips just above and below the diverter.
