    I love this . I was at the gym the other day and a dude was literally swinging the weights. I dont know why anyone would think thats ok. Control is everything

      Tell that to branch warren and ronnie coleman. If you were to list the things important in developing a physique, "controling the weight" would be about #50 or so.

      @@joshuawheelock8874 you're referencing genetic anomalies on massive amounts of gear. For us mere mortals, control, ROM, etc are an important and often overlooked aspect of training

      Swinging isn't optimal for alot ic movenents but they can have their uses(like plyometric or explosive styled movements). But everything should have its place and one can't/shouldn't be wreckless

    I was 5'9'' 50 years old been working out for 25 years (clean) and I couldn't get over 175lbs but even at 50 I looked fantastic I was cut 6 pack yada yada, then I started talking to a pro 13 and his coach they both asked me what I ate so I told them, they both started to laugh and the next day my buddies coach gave me a new diet that wasn't far off from what I was eating, in 3 months I had gained 12lbs within 1 year I was 200lbs 25lbs heavier I lost some of my cut but I was happy, diet was so important I didn't realize

    The best way to build muscle is to use great technique isolating the target muscles and keep adding weight doing sets of 8. Then eat a well balanced diet with a variety of protein and vegetable carbohydrates as well as a variety of fruit to help with recovery. Then of course you need good sleep. Genetics help a lot as well but you are stuck with what you were given.

    • @Journeyman2585
      @Journeyman2585 5 місяців тому +2

      Why sets of 8? Anything from 5 to 20 seems to get the same results.
