As a Polk owner, it is nice to see the same technologies still being used today with some new enhancements!
I’m looking forward to hearing this collection of awesome speakers. Great review!
Heard the R200 bookshelves yesterday. Excellent performance for the size/money!
Truly love Polk been a Polk fan for years....
The biggest 3-way towers are the one to get on the reserve series, the 700s. I’d still stick with the legend center as it’s a 3way, and reserve center is not. Great job Polk!
Pretty good bang for the buck! Thanks for the review.
These look like a very good value.
Polk Audio will make killing sales on these!
I'm a Polk owner. I have 7.1 set up. Have 6 RT55 and my center is CS400 and my sub woofer is PSW505. Think I might have to upgrade.
I invested heavily 15 years ago with Definitive Technology when Sandy Gross was at the helm. They keep on kicking !!!!!! I like watching speaker reviews but damn it I have zero reason to purchase! For those not aware Sandy Gross helped start Polk then started DefTech then went on to GoldenEar......recently retired. Dude is a legend.
David- he is an amazing speaker designer, everything he touched was great! The Golden Ears were his final triumph, you should check them out sometime.
@@AudioAdvice I have no doubt. I wish I could but I can't justify purchasing expensive speakers when my DefTech's keep kicking out great tunes. Back in the day the DefTech's were expensive took me a few years to payoff.........if they ever stop working I will be on the hunt again!
@@8474Starscream Sounds like a plan!
What do you think about the Golden Ear Triton 7's compared to the Polk R700's?
@Mike Lewis SELA I don't own the Tritons so I cannot comment. I did recently pickup a Emotiva XPA NextGen5 Amp and the load balance paired with the Marantz 7013 is stunning.
Good review like it mnch😊
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it
So upgrade from s60's s35 and 4 s10's?
How would you compare these to ML Motion 40i / 50xti / FX / 4i
Great review. Will the R400 center spkr timber match with the S55s from the signature series?
It would have the Polk sound but the drivers are all different. You probably be better matching to the same series. Thanks for watching
@@AudioAdvice how is will these match with the lsim series? I have the 707 fronts and the706 center can I use the r towers for the rear??
@@michaelcolovos3834 Since the Isim is discontinued that would probably be your best bet. They should have a similar sonic signature. Thanks for watching
I'm intrigued by the R700s. I wonder how the dual 8" handle the bass. I have a SVS PB3000, and honestly don't want to spend another 1,400, so would a pair or R700 even out the bass where I wouldn't need a second sub?
Fantastic reviews for the R700. I've just ordered a pair.
What integrated power amplifier would you recommend for the Polk R200, as a good complementary match?
They do need a bit of power to come to life. The size of your room will have a big effect too. Please reach out to our team at www.audioadvice.com for the best advice. Thanks for watching
How would these fare against the svs prime pinnacles or b&w 603 s2?

I have several Polk models, but the bed-liner finish isn't appealing at all.
Thanks for watching!
@@AudioAdvice almost took that personally, huh?
@@greebuh Naw, not at all, the speckled look is a little funky, the walnut or white looks better to us.
