I am 3 months post VSG surgery and getting just 1/2 feels sooo impossible. I’m tired of the protein shakes and supplements. I’m definitely going to order your plan!
Hello.there! Greetings from Brazil! I wonder why 40 or more years ago, people were skinny, had a right body weight but they, by no means , were worried about micronutrients and, specifically about protein daily quantity.
Yes I’m curious about your opinion about Creatine - I hope it’s not bad news cuz I just started it along with HRT and higher weights for muscle building
I’m so bummed! I think Dairy is out for me. Was buying the more expensive grass-fed Greek ( plain), skyr, and cottage cheese. Was having lots of inflammation…lots pain in my joints. Stopped the dairy about a week ago and the pain has started to noticeably go away! 😭😭 I really loved having those as an option for more protein and variety.
The Ratio “yogurt” (they label it dairy food, lol) has 25 grams of protein. Not nearly as delicious as Skyr but for 25 grams of protein it’s good. I get most of my protein from “supplements “ like that but they are all whey based. I think if you have a dairy sensitivity you should probably look into getting a really great dietician.
My body does not tolerate dairy either. It is not as easy getting all the protein in when you can’t use all the dairy protein sources. It’s discouraging for me.
@loriwatson11 I feel you! I think I may have a dairy intolerance (gut issues) but have totally been ignoring it since cottage cheese and yogurt are such a big part of my everyday diet 😅
There are sooo many other superior brands of protein powders on the market and there’s nothing special or different about hers. Why can’t you just get other really good ones?
I could…and I have found a good one. But I’m still bummed I can’t get Autumn’s in Canada. I’d like to be able to try it and it sounds like it is a good quality option.

Protein is a macronutrient, not micro.

I'm sorry - I would be lost without my Greek yogurt and cottage cheese 😢
@@rachelmcgill8143 I know. I contemplate just eating it anyway and dealing with the consequences. It was like my dessert!

How does one eat vegan high protein without going over in calories? It seems that the vegan protein sources are higher in calories than meat?
Autumn thanks for the excellent info.

I dont like the taste of protein powders because of the artificial sugares they use. Is there one without the artificial sugars?
There are lots of options for unflavoured whey isolate protein powder. I’ve never even tried a flavoured one.. lol.
@@Shelleyb4028 would they still contain artificial sweetener though?
@@hannahandrainn the ingredients listed on the whey isolate that I buy states only whey protein isolate and soy lecithin. I get it at Bulk Barn.
@@georgeeliot2012 Is this available in the UK?
@@hannahandrainn Let me give you a typically Canadian response: Sorry! I don’t know. Good luck though.
