    Dear beautiful Autumn
    Where were you for the last 2 years of my life? Oh gosh, YOU are the only one who helped and makes sense. Everything you say is right and, most importantly, very effective.
    I am in full menopause for 2 years now, and I have been very miserable, I have 6 kg weigh gained in 2 months I am 60kg now, and all my life, I was never over 45 kg as a 5'4" tall woman. I'm 55 years old, and they sweating and hot flashes have been vicious for 11 years, no one could help, but when I follow your plan, I started losing, ofcourse water weigh first, but I wake up energized, I am always full, and don't eat much, but I eat right. But the 2 most important changes were the sweating is down by 80% at least and the migraines I suffer from for 21 years now, have been a distant loyal friend LOL, loyal because they stuck by me daily for 21 years.
    Oh dear Lord, you are a miracle source of good information. Thank you, thank you tremendously.
    Much love from Toronto
    Sue

      Toddlers I’ve had 3.
      1. The human pedal bin lol
      Ate anything and everything. Had to remind him not to empty someone’s fruit bowl if we went to visit. Awks A pleasure to feed.
      2. Loved his food but did have preferences. Wouldn’t eat an egg unless it was scrambled. Never into fruit. Still not.
      3. Sigh. Kid eats nothing. Never hungry. Has zero interest in food. Took him to GP, Paediatrician & Nutritionist.
      Left everyone scratching their heads. Didn’t like sweets, take away fries and burgers, anything with colour. Except he used to eat a hot dog, no bun. 🤷‍♀️ Still has a horrible relationship with food.
      But will eat yoghurt, cheese & meat. Mashed potato hides a multitude of vegetables lol No lumps though.
      The common part is all 3 were raised the same. No added salt, no added sugar, no fruit juice or fizzy drink at all while those teeth were growing. Never sugary anything in a bottle! Everything cooked from scratch. No packets or cans (all contain salt & sugar). Steer away from chewy meat and cut your pasta up to avoid choking. Go from smooth (puréed) then slowly introduce texture. Grate veggies like carrots & zucchinis, into casseroles, pasta etc.
      Don’t give them choices. This is what I made for dinner.
      I see parents all the time, would you prefer this? Or how about this? Maybe this ? Be consistent. No dessert means no dessert!
      They won’t starve themselves to death as I found with number 3.

    Your generation is so fortunate because they didn’t fall into the low fat track of the 80s and 90s. We believed all the hype of low to practacly no fat and ate so many carb laden foods with so much pressed sugar!!! I really blame that for my breast cancer. My insulin level was probably so high for so many years. My thyroid was so out of whack. I’m not surprised that I got breast cancer. I just hope that’s all that happens to me because of my many years of believing all the hype of low fat.

    A typical meal for me is pan fried in a Tbls avocado oil 1 cup broccoli, 1.5 cup cabbage slaw topped with 1 half of avocado 1 tbls chili crunch, 1 diced egg with a serving of salmon. Is that too much? I feel great after and am quite satisfied.

      It depends what your calorie needs are. If you exceed your calorie needs to maintain your present weight, then you will gain weight. If you are trying to lose weight, then you must be in a calorie deficit.

    So how many grams of fat would you recommend daily? If you eat 2 or 3 servings of fat per meal, how many grams should that be at most?

    • @jean-christophearnold5163
      @jean-christophearnold5163 Рік тому +2

      I would like to know the grams too! I'm based in the UK, so it might be different... but based on what was said, 2 egg medium is about 10-12 grams, half an avocado (60g) is about 12 grams again. So I would estimate that 1 serving is about 10g fat if you want to be conservative 😊

    I'm curious... is it possible to develop an allergy to nuts? (never had this before) I love them, cashews, pecans, walnuts, almonds etc.. have been using them when i make smoothies or your yummy replacement of oatmeal, and lately i've noticed i'm breaking out in hives in my mouth! yikes! I didn't use them for a few days and no problems. I'm bummed..

    I heard that protein can increase Insulin output, raise blood sugar and I am still Insulin resistent. As an older woman I am supposed to get more protein. I feel a bit stuck. Also, I am in and out of eating meats. Where I live it's difficult to find a farm that provides fresh, grass-finished beef, etc. Ordering from out of state online is not an option, yet for me. Any ideas, anyone? Thanks🙂

    • @Rjmr19
      @Rjmr19 Рік тому +1

      It depends. There are people that can eat a lot of protein others need to reduce their intake. I would use a glucose monitor to see how your body responds after each meal with fat an protein ( always keeping carbs low).
