Cool video. Thanks for taking the time to record this.I had my valve fail on the car and was going to replace it but its really good to know how it works and what the inside of the part looks like.
I could not get mine apart like you did. I think the one I put in is China junk. so I get to do it again.... But I think that I fixed the old one with the silicone spray. it has a lot of rubber inside it. thanks for your movie.
if you spray silicone inside the pipes it will turn easy again. the motor should also be sprayed with electoral cleaner to get the carbon out and it will work again...
All the ones I have taken apart were damaged due to a gritty substance, likely from addative precipitation or contamination, so I don't *think so*, but who knows for sure w/o testing it???
I am having a huge problem with my Toyota Prius 07. the drain cock of the coolant heat storage tank is broken. and i really don't want to replace the tank because it is still in a good shape. is there someway I can get the valve covering the tank without having to replace it completely

This valve was chewed up from debris and therefore had a rough surface causing it to bind.
Just a thought, could a small amount of soluble oil help.

junk yard pick and pull
I almost bet it is the sensor fails that tells it where it is
Sensor reads fine, the valve gets stuck.
