There is a risky 1v1 strategy for dice that I want to share. So you have to start the 1v1 and you bid 2x or 3x of the number you don't have. I know that sound silly but the opponent is most likely not going to call liar on 2 or 3. Let's say you don't have any 6's. You bid 3x 6's and if opponent also has 6's he's probably going to up the bid, so you call liar and win. If the opponent doesn't have any 6's, he might also up the bid to trick you to up the bid even more. In this scenario you also call liar and win. I mean as I said it's risky and you can't pull it off every game. But it's so fun when you pull it off.
I like spot on. There are many cases where you think there is the exact amount the previous person bet, and don’t want to up it even more. Spot on gives you options.
probability wise, everyone will on average have 1.666 (2/6 * 5 dice) of each "common" bet (excluding the ones bet) on top of that there is of course the factor of how willing each player is to pile on which might tell you what he has the most of or if he has a lot of wilds (of course they can also bluff, underestimate or misguide about which pips they want)
Happy to see that the game is getting better with every update (as it should) they really know what they are doing! 6:06 The devs attention to little details like that, I fw this
i think the one thing i like about the game is the character voices, i know the voices are all artificial intelligence, but they fit very well with the characters
Chinese play the dice game as a drinking game maybe since high school or something. I only played it a couple of times but I see whole bunch of people extremely good at it. While drinking,
Even though it was funny as hell seeing people who think their safe or only doing 50/50s getting fucked by devil card. It was a good change to prevent situation like that happening. Punishing people who play well because someone is trigger happy is dumb and make the experience even more frustrating than it is. Disregard my recent replies to you about my negative points on traditional dice since this update fix that Issue, which was the spot on mechanic. Now it more of a read you have to do than something that is given automatically. Which reduce the very fast pace nature of that mode. Even though it didn't address the pacing of the mode. That change made it a little less fast pace and more enjoyable than the basic mode of Dice.
I would be cool if the dice series had a more in depth explanation of the mechanics, rules and mind games bc I’ve seen many dice matches and I still don’t understand what is going on
I recommend you watch the video " Liar's Dice: Our New Favorite Game" from the channel " The Modern Rogue" its about real life version of Liar's Dice but *some* of the rules are the same as the Liar's Bar version
I much preferred traditional the way it was before where being spot on was a fun thing that could happen instead of something you had to specifically call for.
Interesting, your the first person I’ve talked to that doesn’t like the new updated dice, I think the old way would be fine if everyone got an extra poison, it felt like people died to randomly and quickly the old way imo
@@anthonyontv There have been a few people that have also complained in the steam discussion after the update, and a few people ive played with have also complained. Personally I had no idea this discussion was even a thing till the change. That said ive had fun with the new system also, I just prefer the old one and someone I think brought up the idea of having more customization over rules.
Eh I actually don't like the 1's wild and spot on mechanic. I feel if you're smart enough to place just the right size bid your first turn, properly read the dice of the other players, you should be able to set up the guy next in a lose/lose situation. I play this IRL at work with my coworkers lol
Try to play one game without checking your dices ever. Trust me, sometimes you'll get so funny results. Once I bid 10 5's, ended up me having 4 of them 😂just for fun, this is not a serious strat ofc
@@anthonyontv you should really do a video about liar's dice. So far there are 2 ways to go about it which is calling what you got or don't got. And then reading the room such as going off what everyone is betting on for example like pirates of the Caribbean with the table having 4s and 5s it's clear what everyone has.

I actually really like that, that’s prob one of the most optimal routes you can use in a 1v1. Good shit man, I’ll definitely be trying this out.

Exactly, it should be used rarely but there are times where I’ve been in this position as wel

Yeah I love it, all the little stuff gives the game personality
Just subbed. I like that you actually do in depth liars bar videos.
I appreciate you brother, glad you like em.
New update is great!
I hope to see more dice games where you get more into it like the 2nd match!
Glad you enjoy the dice

I agree expect the rhino, his voice is off.
I like it when you end videos with a quick dice game if liars deck doesn’t take too long.
Thanks for the feed back
Unsure on the rules of dice, on the last round you only had two fours but when he called you out it said your had four fours?
1s are wild, and you count for the whole table

Yeah these games would be fun to mess around with some buddy’s and some brews haha
Yoo, new dice series is cool, hopefully you don’t start putting the die in dice
I can promise nothing yet, but by the end we will be dice masters
Basically just adapted it to be Perudo except you don’t lose dice
13:42 🤣
Lmfao, I’m completely desensitized by that shit now it’s just a normal interaction
Always look forward to the uploads brother , pig gang yo
Pig gang!

I still wouldn’t mind if they added one extra poison to everyone to make it 3 instead of only 2
yes! a new series
You know it

It’s not to bad once you play a few rounds, in the lobby menu there is a little tutorial you can read

Never played irl, sounds like it would be fun though, I enjoy 1s wild, luckily there are two different game modes for both of us haha

Oooo I like that actually haha I’ll try it
Never call spot on ....
Unless it is spot on
