Why do i always keep coming back to this video! I think it's because I LOVE IT!!! The trains are awesome, love the speed they run at, the layout is amazing! Great source of inspiration for me, especially as i'm about to start my layout. Awesome guys!!!
impeccable - even preternaturally realistic - scenery and detailing. real artistry on display here. looks like photographs of an "idealized" real world - where everything was kept immaculately clean. damn. this beats even the world-famous Miniatur Wunderland in Hamburg Germany. as awesomely detailed as that showcase is - its scenes would never be mistaken for photos of reality.
Fantastic video!!!!! I'm not just saying this, but this could possibly be the best model train video I've seen. The scenery is top notch, and the action was great. I love BNSF, and your layout is just great. Thanks for sharing, and I'd love to see more!
I wish I could afford to have an extensive HO setup. This really brings back memories of my childhood. My hometown used to have 2 rail lines through it, now one is abandoned. And the other is Out-of-service north of the city. Union Pacific took over service.
Great video, it looks so realistic. Two questions, do all the engines pull and push? Why are there two engines up front and two in the rear and why are there four engines up front and none in the rear? I counted the cars, all three trains had over 30 cars in them, is that why there are four engines in each, which brings me back to my original question, are all the engines really pulling and pushing. Well, that was more than two questions. Great video, thanks for sharing. Lastly, I noticed that your videos are quite a few years old, so you may not answer my questions. Thanks again.
Thanks. All engines push and pull, they are consisted together in the DCC system. I run the trains as in the real world, that's why you see front and rear engines on heavy trains as coal, rock, grain and oil. Intermodal trains with containers can have all engines in the front or spread out in the middle and rear. Intermodal trains with trailers usually have engines only in the front due to the lighter cars behind them. Also, on most trains at least 3 engines are needed to get the train up the 1,5% grade on the ramps coming up from the staging yard. You can see all the trains on the layout in this video: ua-cam.com/video/IcnMzIwtE08/v-deo.html
They are stock as for details, but I rebuilt the ditch lights so they are controlled separately, installed Tsunami2 decoders and speakers, and weathered them lightly.
Sweet!
The modeling is excellent and the low camera angles really bring it to life!
👍👍
The ground level shots with a bigger depth of field really forces the perspective perfectly. So fun to watch!❤️

Nice Layout!!!Extremely detailed...I like alot. Most model railroaders could learn alot just looking at this layout.Very realistic.
That's a very impressive layout you got there. I also like the weathering on the wheels of the Bethgon Coalporters.
