It'll hold at current power levels longer than you think. 5r110w is pretty stout factory. With solenoid upgrades, it'll probably live a while.
6.0s aren’t 5r110w’s. The six four had the second rendition of the 5R, which is the 5r110W

I've never been a Ford driver and really love my Modified Turbo 6.2/6.5 but I'm wowed over this thing. Great work and on stock Gaskets and Head Bolts is just unreal.
The Ford truck f250 350 are great trucks. There is a reason they sell as many as dodge and gm combined

@@blokay_garage they’re actually less reliable stock. they’re reliable with studs, fully deleted, & tuned. there is no reason for anything on this truck to blow up besides the stock head bolts. best bottom end & transmission. he also replaced the oil cooler & hpop. all it needs is studs

This series is making my soft spot for 6.0's grow. I am surprised to see that the stock head gaskets are handling that much power. Keep up the good work my man.
The 6.0 is a power house, part of the reason it’s holding so well is he did the EGR delete. There’s nothing wrong with Properly built 6.0, from the factory yes garbage.

He's proving a lot of people wrong about head gaskets and the truck already has how many miles
Short little pulls are not as hard as overheating pull trailers up hill with bad tuning. A light truck with a few seconds will last a lon g time
You need to get with Ed from ficm repair and get the upgraded solenoids for the transmission. Itll hold more power, longer. Proven solution to keep that poor trans together a bit longer! 👍

Couple local shops advised against it. Said it’s another wear item that could potentially go bad.
@@Wtfisakilometer_technically it’s the same as a head bolt but you can put more torque on it and they have more clamping force. I however have to agree as I’ve seen far more “bulletproofed” 6.0s shit themselves than stock ones

Not to mention they didn't even try to blow off/ clean the hpop cover before getting some grime in the engine lol. He's easy money for them.
Waiting for this guy to actually do something. Hpop’s have zero effect on power by themselves unless your dropping icp. Put some 430/150s in and join the big boys.

The are unreliable. I’ve had to replace injectors on my 6.0 twice within 70k miles. Never have I ever replaced injectors on my 7.3 in 350k Miles.

@@bobcatman334 hell even with lack of maintenance they’re reliable to and extent I finally opened up my 6.0 (2004.5 model year) which I bought used it had a horrible maintenance record a blown egr cooler and gelled oil in the oil cooler yet it ran like a brand new truck

Since I’m sure you realize that going in and out of the motor for one component cost exponentially more money I’m glad your willing to do it a piece at a time to compare the difference each component makes without supporting mods etc. Much cheaper to yank the cab, tear down and install everything at one time labor wise. Once the system is complete it’s definitely gonna be nasty.

interesting i had a 03 with a service bed weighing 8200 pounds , warren 190/30 and a kc stage 2 turbo i got 4.9 to 60 on the draggy

Dieselsite is not currently building HPOP's for 2005+ trucks, they only have 03-04 style pumps, they do claim to be redesigning their 05+ HPOP. What size injectors do you plan to run?

I’d be curious to know what your timing is at with the stock head bolts ??that really makes a difference. And honestly, I believe people blow head gaskets with stock head bolts when they have a tune with the stock oil cooler and EGR cooler it’s just too much flash heating for the coolant and pressure for the system to handle if you do an oil cooler delete EGR delete I really feel like that reduces half of your problems and most people don’t realize that.

This has me REAL curious....I run a bulletproofed 6.0 with 175/30 injectors. block is recelty honed .0002 over...5" exhaust all the way.and the banks polished intake. HPOP is next logical step...then turbo...then I'll be replacing that transmission for sure lol

As long as you are watching those exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) your headgaskets should hold.

To be honest, many many if not most 6.0 got misdiagnosed in the early days! Once that EGR is deleted it becomes a lot more reliable and easier for the average mechanic to deal with!
