This series is making my soft spot for 6.0's grow. I am surprised to see that the stock head gaskets are handling that much power. Keep up the good work my man.
The 6.0 is a power house, part of the reason it’s holding so well is he did the EGR delete. There’s nothing wrong with Properly built 6.0, from the factory yes garbage.
You need to get with Ed from ficm repair and get the upgraded solenoids for the transmission. Itll hold more power, longer. Proven solution to keep that poor trans together a bit longer! 👍 Thing is RIPPIN dude! Very nice!
Waiting for this guy to actually do something. Hpop’s have zero effect on power by themselves unless your dropping icp. Put some 430/150s in and join the big boys.
I've never been a Ford driver and really love my Modified Turbo 6.2/6.5 but I'm wowed over this thing. Great work and on stock Gaskets and Head Bolts is just unreal.
Since I’m sure you realize that going in and out of the motor for one component cost exponentially more money I’m glad your willing to do it a piece at a time to compare the difference each component makes without supporting mods etc. Much cheaper to yank the cab, tear down and install everything at one time labor wise. Once the system is complete it’s definitely gonna be nasty.
@@greenespirit4973time is money. That being said, I do the same thing because it gives me familiarity with my vehicle. It’s nice down the road when a half day job gets done in an hour because you can do it with your eyes closed.
@@Wtfisakilometer_technically it’s the same as a head bolt but you can put more torque on it and they have more clamping force. I however have to agree as I’ve seen far more “bulletproofed” 6.0s shit themselves than stock ones
Looks like that new HPOP did the trick! Awesome display of power on a stock block! I like my ZF6 6-speed manual 6.0 but it's no speed demon. As long as you are watching those exhaust gas temperatures (EGT's) your headgaskets should hold.
I’d be curious to know what your timing is at with the stock head bolts ??that really makes a difference. And honestly, I believe people blow head gaskets with stock head bolts when they have a tune with the stock oil cooler and EGR cooler it’s just too much flash heating for the coolant and pressure for the system to handle if you do an oil cooler delete EGR delete I really feel like that reduces half of your problems and most people don’t realize that.
This has me REAL curious....I run a bulletproofed 6.0 with 175/30 injectors. block is recelty honed .0002 over...5" exhaust all the way.and the banks polished intake. HPOP is next logical step...then turbo...then I'll be replacing that transmission for sure lol

@@blokay_garage they’re actually less reliable stock. they’re reliable with studs, fully deleted, & tuned. there is no reason for anything on this truck to blow up besides the stock head bolts. best bottom end & transmission. he also replaced the oil cooler & hpop. all it needs is studs
To be honest, many many if not most 6.0 got misdiagnosed in the early days! Once that EGR is deleted it becomes a lot more reliable and easier for the average mechanic to deal with!
Does anyone have any experience with this Thumper 2 and the DieselSite Adrenaline?? I'm wanting to upgrade my hpop and injectors at the same time but can't make up my mind which hpop to get
Dieselsite is not currently building HPOP's for 2005+ trucks, they only have 03-04 style pumps, they do claim to be redesigning their 05+ HPOP. What size injectors do you plan to run?
People dont understand these trucks LOVE to be ran🤣🤣 been watching the whole series and your motivating me for mine. Only question I have is does it ever push coolant out the cap on the high boosting applications and/or launchs

It'll hold at current power levels longer than you think. 5r110w is pretty stout factory. With solenoid upgrades, it'll probably live a while.

Short little pulls are not as hard as overheating pull trailers up hill with bad tuning. A light truck with a few seconds will last a lon g time

All these videos on how the 6.0 is good is going raise the price of these gems

if you take all the BS emissions trash off ANY diesel, they instantly become more reliable & fuel efficient!
“Today we’re going to be installing it at Asher Automotive” my guy EVERY DAY YOU INSTALL STUFF AT ASHER
Indeed wouldn't take my trucks anywhere else
Interesting however the main culprit is heat for a long duration not to surprised it’s still holding up
What is the 0 to 60 app you use?

Try some sled pulls on the stock bolts!!!

A 2 step tuner would sound cool
Eric McMichael can tune that

God this is cool
This has turned out to be one of my favorite channels. Add some methanol.
Give that truck the nickname thumper.
Anybody know what he’s spent just in parts not labor and the truck price
Close to $20k
I need someone opinion on a 7.3 I wanna buy
How can we help?
Put a watermeth kit
He'll yea!!!!
Gotta put that bootdog back on there
Still tryin to make that big engine run like a 350 chevy.
need some power driven diesel cac boots
That trans bout to start saying “haaayyy I’m Cait”
It’s going to keep getting faster the more you burn those tires to a street profile
jesus 4.7 whilel bucking traction???
Do a 6.4 next series 😂
Get some power driven diesle boost boots
now lower it, wider wheels and tires stack it (bed stack) paint it black and we got a nice lookin rig
needs some trac bars
Put a drag pack on this thingg😮💨😮💨
He’s gonna install a Lariat cluster
Time for suspension and tires
Do the oil cooler relocation mod!!! Don’t just put a new one in!

Not to mention they didn't even try to blow off/ clean the hpop cover before getting some grime in the engine lol. He's easy money for them.
with 2 grown folks
You need to go S400 if you wanna make big power, you’re going to be air limited with that stage 3
Exactly what I said, kc is way to small for 100 overs, and he needs head studs and a trans
needs more turbo
Imagine being in a scat getting gapped to fuck by a 6.0 😂
Please just put a speedometer on the truck
I think it needs a s400 swap
I can’t believe that poor transmission is handling that rowdy ass engine🤣🤣🤣🤣
The 5r110 is a damn good transmission
Why not just run it out for the 1/8th mile?
We want to see more than just a 0-60.....

Based off of your thumbnails, this truck should make 1475 hp…
How the fuck are you holding that power with stock headbolts. I've seen lifted heads with stock turbo race tunes.
Gotta take that spurtnturn belt off first
