I’m going to wait until the full release to fight Malzeno, so I can be surprised on what the fight is actually like. But, just hearing the theme terrifies me on what I’m going to experience EDITED (After Sunbreak’s Release): HOLY SHIT!!! That was probably the most intense fight I’ve ever been in! Also, the teleporting move Malzeno does is so freaking cool! God, I’m so glad I waited for the full release!
From my 4 hour experience, he really is an interesting and refreshing monster to hunt. I expected him to be another "Kush skeleton go brrrt" but was pleasantly surprised by just how unique his movesets were and felt in general - tbh I saw none of the traditional Kush skeleton movesets like braindead charges and what nots. Personally with few more hunts he might as well tie with Nergi for being the most fun flagship to fight against
I will never forget the first time fighting him with a few trusted friends, only to fail the hunt, it was such a treat seeing it in action when a certain move went off before I could even react....
Gore is the "street gang boss" type of edgy that smokes weed and punts any unfortunate ones walking on his street Malzeno is the "mafia boss" type of edgy that sips on wine with full attire and contemplates which company to fuck apart next
This demo malzeno was one of the HARDEST!!!!! Fucking solo hunts ive ever done in mh lol esp as a sword n shield. This fight is Noooooo fucking joke at all! It was intense heart pumping fast and u are constantly on the edge. SHIT WAS AMAZING!!!!!! Not even icebourne fatalis/alatreon took me this many attempts. Even took me a couple more attempts than demo magnamalo. I still think EX astalos is harder but man this was up there amongst some of the hardest like 3U event brachy and stygian
Its Malzeno time! Tried 4 times, and i still dont understand how to avoid a lot of attacks, but it was the same with magnamalo. it was almost imposible and did a ton of damage, but its just on the demo. the design of a lot of moves he does are so unique.
@@neverlander7783 You wouldn't believe just how much apeshit dmg it deals, neither can I lmao. Lesser bois like Aknosom and Tetra becomes wyvern-rideable with a single barrage. I legit thought the game was bugged when I managed to solo him by spamming BB. They really gotta tone it down and distribute its dmg to other moves, so that SB's GL doesn't become the "press ZL Y to end the hunt" weapon.
Loving this so much, do you think you could post the Malzeno and Astalos chase themes? I only hear bits and pieces of them when I play and they sound like absolute bangers
@@miguelcabreracastro6968 we had a kind of "tactic" where he went instantly taking the tetranadon to ride him and then the rathian, meanwhile I (with the switch axe) kept using the new counter which is pretty high damaging, and then just luck I guess.
My tactic was go Hammer and stun that bastard. But other than that, it's mount both map monsters. My run was lucky enough that Tetradon got mounted twice. Left with 20s on the clock.
