Triumph Scrolling Indicators on the Daytona 660

- I fitted the Triumph Scrolling Indicators to the Daytona 660. These are dealer fit options as the system needs programming. Can I get them working myself?

Nice. I just added a tiger sport 660 tail tidy off amazon and also got the OBDLink LX and TuneEcu to reset the service light 👍

I like the scrolling indicators! They are 10 times more noticeable. Fabulous! I may put them on my Speed Triple RR. Your tail piece is easy to disassemble whereas the RR is a real pain. I removed it anyway for the Tail Tidy from Evo Tech. The RR tail piece splits down the middle and is metal with plastic spacers in the middle It's like a Chinese puzzle box. Great video!

They are the exact same indicators for the RR, just a different part number, probably just a cable length difference, they would compliment your bike very nicely. Did you know your 1200RR is actually 2kg (4.4lbs) lighter than my Daytona 660? 😳
@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuff I didn't know it weighed less than the Daytona 660. I do know it's 21 lbs lighter that my Thruxton R with fairing.
Good stuff! Didn't even know these were available as they don't place them on the US configurator. But I shall indeed have them as they do appear to make the bike even more visible. The stock items are much better than the items on my late model Hondas; not just my opinion but based on cars taking action based on my signaling. My 24 Ninja 650 signals are also quite good. Thanks for sharing your work.
No problem. I don't think these are legal in North America hence the reason that they don't appear on your configurator. :-0 If you could get them would anyone pick you up on it though?
@@terenceokeeffesmotorcyclestuffNo, they would not. If an officer pulled me over for speeding, bank robbery, or murder, AND I called his mother a nasty name, only THEN would he cite the turn signals, just to add as much financial punishment as possible.

I have scrolling indicators on my Ducati Diavel V4 (which comes as standard) and I sometimes see Audi drivers looking at me quizzically when indicating.

I’m in the us and I know you have more viewers than you think. The restrictions your talking about will be whole heartedly ignored plus the cops have more important things to do.
