I listen to a lot of podcasts. But I am starting to love the Mcelroy extended universe the most because that's the podcasts that have SO MANY TALENTED ANIMATORS MAKING VIDEOS LIKE THESE that just make me love the characters more. This is great. Keep it up!

Well, all three of you can tell your... friends... that the reference Griffin is making is to "LOSS.jpg" a meme that resulted from a Ctrl-Alt-Del strip (from after the comic got inappropriately dark and drama focused) about a miscarriage. That particular comic was a successful meme because it contains no dialogue and has a different profile/outline of the characters on panel in each of the four panels, so it is not only very exploitable but also very easy to hide references to in things.
Nick was discussing a page of the comic Ctrl+Alt+Del. The loss joke is a reference to a particular strip called Loss that became a meme because of how overly dramatic it was.
As much of a garbage person Nick turned out to be the delivery of "You suck, go away. I liked it better when you were gone and not here." is a huge mood
