Timmy Turner and Bart Simpson are voiced by females and yet you see them as males. But he wears a skirt! ...Seriously? That's your biggest argument? Look, skirts are clothes. Clothes do not define gender. Let people wear what they want. Jaden Smith wore a skirt yet does it make him look like a girl? Case closed.
OMG when Jonathan says Sock sucks at his job he means Sock makes him want to keep living!!! as in, Sock gives him a purpose to keep living despite all of the embarrassment and whatnot!!! (making up her own theories)
I like to think of Sock as gender-neutral but wasn't fully accepted as such by his parents and grew accustomed to being called a boy thus isn't offended when someone calls him..."he/him". I think it's adorable that he ends up liking Jonathan and i would love to see their relationship unfold more! The clever puns are adorable and appeal to the tumblr sense of humor that seems to be everywhere. I also like how Satan is styled like a car salesman and how God is referred to as "she". Subtle things like that is what makes it so popular! The artwork is quirky and adorable, it would be amazing to see this a whole series!
You're right, I didn't research into his name when I made this post. Mephistopheles was a demon and appears in the story of Faust from Germany and in the story he was basically the speaker for Satan, if I remember correctly.

This is really good, but some of the writing kinda contradicts each other. At the beginning, Mephistopheles explains his schedule, then at the end he says he can't wrap his head around time because it was a human thing, and he's asking Sock about why it's taking so long, then backpedals saying that there wasn't a deadline, it just had to happen eventually. I dunno, kinda bothered me but this is still pretty awesome, I hope you made a good grade :D

The music makes me think of those classic Halloween specials that only come on in October on Cartoon Network (or back when CN did that often, since it seems like they've gotten lazy about it.) If you ever plan on making a film or animated series based off of this, or even an entirely different idea of your own, I would watch the life out of it!
