Amazing video as always
I'd take a civic but the styling does kinda look like the Cadillac CT5
Dude anything beats a corolla…
Whose baby is that in the backseat Jakob? 😳😳😳
Honda designers: Hey, let's create the new Civic. OK, let's take the Accord, shrink it 15%, and make it home by lunch. Done.
They made it a long Scion TC

It's called the "German efficiency" design.
Corolla looks better in my opinion 😅
It's looks like a jetta & an audi a4 in my opinion. I can see a mixture of a 10th gen accord but definitely more like a German style vehicle.

Hopefully the corolla gr has everything the gr yaris has going for it. I know it seems stupid but I would love a corolla gr apex edition just for the color scheme.

“Classy” “sportier” “aggressive” … words reviewers use for cars that no buys for those reasons.
“Affordability” “economical” “practical” “easy to park” “daily driver” are reasons real people buy compact cars.
The Corolla SE (or hybrid) with openPilot 2.0 is the best deal on the planet right now.
Idk if that’s fair. It’s a “why not both?” sort of thing. Most of the cars in this segment are all of those things you mentioned so what sometimes actually tips the scale is subtle difference in looks, power, and interior quality. And most reviews I watch definitely cover the stuff you mentioned. That said I do hate that most reviews involve the top trims. Those aren’t what most people buy so I wish more top reviewers would compare the trims that respectively sell the most, Such as the Corolla SE vs the Civic Sport or Elantra SEL.
Been waiting for this for so long.
Normal cars ftw
The Civic is still my choice between the two. The Corolla is pretty gutless for what it is. It’s all looks, no power. It is nice looking though. I do like how Honda (as well as most car brands these days) are making all their models look very similar. The Civic kooks like a mini Accord. Love it!

CVT kill's the spirit of the Civic. Tthis car reputation was build on fun, dynamic, and personality. This desigh is nothing but a smaller Accord, witch has not won any price either. Reability is still there, thank god.
Dynamic's, they've lost it completely. And it's not a cvt (snowmobile transmission) that will fix it. And if you want fuel economy, go to electric.Of course there is the Si and the type R, but those two total no more than 5% total of there sails.

I just bought a civic, it’s 10th gen and personally I think the 10th gen is the best looking for the civic. The 11th gen looks too much like an accord and they r supposed to b different vehicles. It’s too soft of a design, I wish it was more aggressive
I bought a '21 Apex earlier this year. For several reasons, including the wildly harsh ride, I ended up taking it back. If the suspension was softer the Apex would make for a great daily. Sharp car, especially with the LED DRL package. Exhaust sounded great for a 4cyl (not quite as good as Yuri's Fiat, of course!) and wasn't too intrusive. If the suspension was about 20% stiffer than an SE instead of 300% I'd probably still be driving it.
What did you get instead? After you took the apex back
you should’ve read into it. apex has a sport tuned suspension….

I honestly really like the styling of the Corolla with that grey color. Not a bad looking budget car and you can get a manual too so that’s a plus.
As a Brazilian, were 90% of cars are manuals, I don’t get the hype that Americans and Canadians give to manual transmissions. Automatic transmissions are so much more comfortable and just avoid overall bad shifts from inexperienced people. I get it, manual is more sporty, maybe in a GTI or a Porsche it makes sense, but not really on a Toyota Corolla… Just my opinion though. Although I’m glad they have both options for those who prefer manual. I’m always in favor of different specs! :)
Nah we just like Nissan cvts that fall apart. Yea
A lot of it is just bored privileged westerners who have too many luxuries in life. So they look to make something more complicated (like manual transmission) in order to feel more alive.

U can't go wrong with either, they follow their own tune. The Corolla cross will probably be a big seller. Wish we had more regular civic reviews, as that's what most ppl will buy
I don't get what the criticism for the last gen civic is. The exterior actually looks a lot cooler, more like a functional sports car, the side mirror camera is actually pretty useful especially watching out for cyclists and the volume slider esp on the steering wheel is much easier to use once you get the hang of it. Instead of rotating wheels or pushing buttons so many times, the higher sensitivity slider let's you quickly get to the volume you want
I have a 10th touring and not being a fanboy but if you use the car as a daily you'll see just how useful those features are. Even the speedo animation and design is a lot cooler. The 11th is just.. Tame. I wouldn't upgrade imo
