Hey, can you tell me how to adjust the up position height? Only rests 1.5 inches off the ground, yours appears to be 3-4 inches up. Thanks and great video!
I just bought a used L100 and hope to add the plow. Great video but just one question. Do the brackets interfere with the mower deck or can they stay on year round?
I really enjoyed your video. I have A John Deere D160;model I bought 2021. I have a snow blade that I bought for cheap money. I am thinking about mountain it. Do I need to take out the deck to use the snow blade? Thank you. Al
@@almattaliano8902 for me just plowed snow i didn't take off the deck it works fine i don't know why some people do it i had damge at all when plowing snow
@@almattaliano8902 Hi, Al. Sorry for the delay but you left your comment on someone else's comment so I didn't get a notification about it. I strongly recommend removing the deck when plowing snow. The reason for this is that you are not always going to be plowing a clear path in front of you when you're trying to move. Especially if you are in a region that gets a significant amount of snow fall or if you have to plow over mounds left behind by previous plowing, etc. For example, up here in New Hampshire this weekend, we received about 18" of snow in a single day. The way I was plowing out my driveway and my neighbor's driveway had me going through some deep snow to get places and I also had to push big mounds of ice and snow around to make room for the new snow. The tractor was fighting me here and there because it was so deep and, if I'd had a mowing deck on, I guarantee it would have basically acted as a giant brake plowing snow up under the tractor and getting me stuck. Without the deck attached, all the snow escapes from under the tractor between the wheels.
Hi, Snapples. I am so sorry for my late reply to you. The pins you need (or for future readers) is Part # GXH48149 and John Deere calls it a Pin Fastener. If you do a Google search for that part number, you should find options for purchasing new ones. I hope this helps!
Hi, Mark. Sorry for the delay in replying. I have about the same amount of upward movement on my setup, as well. It's really only designed to get the blade off the ground so it doesn't have the full up and down range of motion that a larger system would have.
Great informative video. Thanks for making and posting it.

Good video. Can you do a video taking off mower deck?
How does this plow work on gravel driveways. Any experience out there? Thanks.
My same blade maybe comes up 2 inches off the ground...is there an adjustment i can make to get it to at 3 inches?

Hi, John. Brackets stay on permanently if you want. Zero interference with the deck. Enjoy!
for the locking pins we lost one of ours and we can't find a replacement would you know where to find a replacement?
I'm in the same situation with parts for plow ima going to dry local dealer or amazon.

Only 3”? From the video (10:08, for example) it looks higher than that. No?
