In the spring leave the lift linkage attached to the blade assembly when you remove the blade. Next season hold the arm up over the axle when you slide the blade assembly into place to put in the long pin!
Leave the lift arm attached when you take blade off for spring, easier to mount blade come winter, you don’t have to go through all the lining up and so on
This is the best how to do it video I think I have ever seen. You did a remarkable job showing a very difficult task. Thanks so much
Thank you! The grainy black and white pictures in the manual really weren't cutting it.
Thanks. I need this every year.
I've *almost* done it enough times that I can install it without reading the directions...

Thanks for this comment. It made it a lot easier!
Just what I needed. Thank you!!!
Great video, thank you!
Very good Ben, a tip-> put some grease on each pivot point, That will keep the mechanism from wallowing out and getting sloppy over time. Mike
You can really use translated audio on your science & education channel, I cannot imagine how good it'll attract audience !
how do you attach the rod for rotating the blade?
Great vid bro

Doing that doesn't interfere with installing the mower deck at all? I guess I've never checked.
@ none what so ever, takes me 5 minutes to change over.
Would this be the same on x304 mower “2007”
if you pause the video at about 10 seconds the front of the manual shows the specific models this blade is listed as compatible with
Didn’t even cuss once! 😂
lol, I didn't put EVERYTHING on camera. I @#$% hate the clip around the 8:00 mark
