What you can jump the boanuts?! Awesome. This joint looks nimble. Apologies if I’ve asked this before but how bad is salt water on these boats? All I have is salt water around me and I’m really interested in getting a boat. Congrats on adding this one to your fleet. Looks like a winner👍✌🏼
Yeah, it needs some more power for my liking, but not bad for a baseline run. I really like how it looks and handles tho. The only thing you have to worry about with salt water is make sure you rinse out any if it gets in the boat and you have to pull the flex shaft out and grease it after every run in the ocean. Fresh water you can probably get away with 3-4 runs between greasing
I'd glue foam I'm the outside hatch, don't take much foam to float a hatch.

On 6s it will come to life! Or burn up 😂 lol, but honestly I run 6s and the boat is amazingly overpowered but so fun! ✌🏼😎👍🏼
I'm really tempted to try it, but don't wanna fry another motor 😆 ..did some research and it looks like the ESC is a 120A unit but the motor is only rated for 3-4S. If your stock motor is holding up ok, I might just do it!

@@mikesrcgarage Right on.. it looks like the rest of the drivetrain can handle the power as well. 6S it is on the next outing! 😀
@@scaleworksRCagain it's a risk ,use a temp gun. I run a light 1300 mah 6s pack, it has to be turned sideways to fit and get the hatch closed. Oh and when you run 6s when you crash from going too fast lol it blows the outer cabin cover off and it sinks. I put small chunks of foam to make it float. Works great and if you put tape across the front nose of it it usually stays on, short runs on 6s 1300 mah 3 minutes!!! 4s with your bigger prop might be really fun 👍🏼
@@mikesrcgarage Definitely, I keep a temp gun with me for speed runs and hot days. I have the stock 3S from this one and the 915 to run in series. Both low C rating and thin, so they should fit and run ok. What brand are you running?
