The truth is you could get 50 plus with a 3s setup... something like a 60 amp esc, 3600-4000 kv , 2500 60c 3s and a medium pitch 33=34 mm prop...and it would last... But i know your channel is for pushing things to the extreme...Great job!
@@gen1power102 I do like to see insane setups just don't like to go to crazy with my own boats.... I just picked up a little volantex vector s and tested it today near my house... installed new batts in tx and used a fully charged batt 1300 mah i use in my airboat...just keeps dying on from the moment i put it in water. then coming back to life for a few seconds ..then running for a minute or so..i took it out and checked everything... no water ,no heat at all... range does not seem to make a difference... 30 foot or 100 ft ..it died several times for a couple of minutes on me... does this sound like a bad rx? thats the only thing i can think of...i never had any of my boats do this unless i got them wet...Any idea??? i don't want to send it back since it has to be a simple fix...thanks..happy boating!
I like the enthusiasm you have for boats-- I am trying to get into It with my own arrow 5-- (recommended by racing group near me) i am going to check out a race next week to pick all their brains and decide on a boat. Also going to build a dumas short stuff during the year
The cats are super fast but in my opinion I really think the monos are best all around boats. If I can recommend a boat I’d say stay over 40” because you don’t have to worry about choppy water as much as you do in smaller boats. And if possible start off with a stronger boat like carbon fiber or if possible a double thick carbon fiber boat.
@@daviduruski7848 I live in a heavily wooded area where a fire could spread really easily and my dad doesn’t want me to have LiPOs in the house for that reason because they combust to easily
I think your fighting the battery weight man...the more crazy you go w higher cells...the worse it gets for the boat size.....makes it not get up on plane and hence will be slower..😢

I am going to repower omee of my arrows-- what is the biggest motor I can get and still use 3s
Please do a video on how you modified the stock motor mount. It would be interesting to see how you did it
