Since the bridge was built in the 70', nobody cared about the vulnerable pylons, at this time the cargo vessels were a lot smaller. I guess the most of you had seen how small and fragile the pylons were. It was only a question of time when this tragedy will occur.
Please, protect your pylons when huge vessels travel around. 😢

Seems like the Bridge's Pylon at point of Impact was VERY STRONG, bc although
collapse happened, that SUPER HEAVY Ship was halted at that point! It would seem the
Ship's momentum ought have made it Drift & pass that area by 4-6 Miles more.
The question is, why could the ship reach the pylons???
You won't believe it, but in Germany you have to protect the pillars.
Never set pillars in a water depth who big cargo vessels can sail, or protect them by piers who stop the vessel.

The bridge was NOT properly protected, there were no Dolphins protecting the pylons that held up the bridge. That was the biggest issue amongst many.
